  • I hope you didn't start over because starting over has always stopped my success in the first week with p90x. You end up hating Chest and Back. Something will always come up just don't let one missed day discredit the others.

    Adding cardio is great idea. I try to run of do cardiox on my weight lifting days hopefully I will see some results. I hope you do too.

  • I am not a fan of starting over. In a 90 day period something is always going to come up. I would learn from your mistakes and keep going. If you feel like you shorted yourself add an extra week at the end. I definitely think that adding cardio is a good way of ramping up the fat burn at the start. Good luck and keep us posted.

  • If I missed two workouts my first week I would start over because I think one should do all the workouts especially the first week because that is the most important week in my opinion. The program is about getting in all the workouts for 90 days. I think missing one or two workouts might be ok once you've started seeing results but in no way am I encouraging taking time off just because. Take the time off if you really need it or you reach circumstances beyond your control.

  • If you want to add an extra week in to the first phase, that would maybe make you feel better about having missed two workouts...but I wouldn't sweat that too much. It's like Emir has said, it's easier to miss all the workouts than just 1. So as long as you are staying consistent from here on out, don't sweat it. Doing cardio three times a week is sufficient too. I run three times a week on top of P90X, so that's kinda the same.

  • As far as starting over, that is up to you. You only missed a couple workouts so I wouldn't stress. Adding Cardio in the middle of the day is good to shed some fat. I don't know if you need cardio EVERY day bit 3-4 times a week is good.
