Well, I dont think Kishore's voice suited Sumit Sehgal at all. But Kishore has sung this song very well...I was quire surprised that the playback was for Sumit Sehgal. Also, this movie was released 2 yrs after KishoreDa's death...So I doubt whether he kew that Sumit Sehgal would be lip-syncing this song.

And what makes you think he didn't? Released 2 ysr after his death doesn't mean that the cast for the movie was also decided after Kishore's death, and that Kishore didn;t know who he would be singing for when the song was given to him.

Chill dude..It was a casual thought..I never claimed it. It's very much possible that such things happen. It is well known that "Khaike Paan Banaraswaala" was initially recorded for Dev Anand in Banarasi Babu, but later was released in Don. I thought so only becoz I felt that KishoreDa's voice does not suit Sumit Sehgal.

Point well taken. But as you might also know, Tanha Main Akela was shot before Kishore's death-- they used to show it on TV, in Dev Anand's JayKaylon commercial-- but that movie, too, was released 2 years after Kishore's death. So either way is possible.
