If you limit yourself to keeping things out of the way.... you're limiting your creativity. Its all about finding a COOL pose and adjusting other parts to make it look proportional. Im a big fan of bringing my shoulder forward/hollow ... lol who would ever raise a shoulder that high for so reason is beyond me. Not a good video.

There is 1 & only 1 important tip when shooting models. Shoot from below the waist, far away, so the legs look longer =) The rest will take care of itself!

Do you want to see your name in the paper defending yourself from a sexual harassment lawsuit ? Even if she doesn't sue you, she can still smear you personally and professionally. It's her word against yours. Most people will believe the worst.

NEVER touch the model. Tell her, or, demonstrate and let her copy you.

Likewise, never be alone with the model.

Touching or not touching, you're screwed if they say you touched them (even if you didn't), because often its just you and the model. They aren't made of glass, they are people just like you and me. If you don't touch the model, its your choice, but its because you are afraid. If you ask them and they say no, then don't if they say yes: touch em

Using lens zoom also helps 'flatten' the perspective a little. Avoid w/a lenses!
