...+ MGS3 had feeding, camo and healing options and that is even more amazing (better than MGS4 for sure). The best CQC system (again better than MGS4's one imo), amazing locations, Stamina had a huge effect in the game either! The best bosses MGS ever had (The End is superb), the game was more realistic (equipment and stuff), best codec convos and many other things!

Each human being respect his own MGS, I LOVE MGS3 and this love can't be changed by anyone. You like MGS1 and I appreciate it!!

@Jostra123 How can you say MGS3 was terrible, when it was probably the best MGS! I so disagree here.

MGS1 = best plot, yeah. Best idea for stealth.

MGS2 = the most confusing and difficult to understand story, amazing setting.

MGS3 = pure win: stealth, camo, food, injures/healing, CQC system. Amazing storyline and THE most emotional MGS! I can't say which game is better than MGS3 on PS2.

MGS4 = just a nice ending story, gfx, great choice of weapons, more customized CQC system, etc.

I can't even compare them but for me MGS2 stands on the last place, then either MGS4 or MGS1 and MGS3 is sure 1st!!!

There is the most favourite MGS for each fan I guess, but I prefer MGS3 and its' setting.

For me that is: MGS - Sniper Wolf's last words; MGS2 - Emma's death; MGS3: The Boss' final words, Snake's final salute in front on The Boss' grave; MGS4 - Naomi's death, Otacon's words that Snake won't be here(crying). But from all that, MGS3 reacted on me mostly. So, don't tell me which MGS is more emotional, eveyone has his own taste, pal. Deal with it!

@Fancy93pants Microwave was hard to watch, but it's only Snake's endurance, he made it, sure with injures but he did it! In MGS3's ending, it was more emotional, killing his friend and mentor and standing there, crying! Oh yeah, it SO was the final salute to The Boss. MGS4 is a good game, but MGS and MGS3 beat it with ease! Now, I said it. Say what you want, you won't change anything here. That's my opinion and you gotta understand that. See ya.

@Detsurasu mgs3 the boss enemies were corny as hell, big boss was a little bitch, he was all afraid to sit next to the girl, sure the gameplay was fun but nowhere near metal gear 1. Metal gear 1 solid snake was a fucking bad ass, he was legendary, everyone loved him, the bosses were unique and the storylines were in depth and it was a tragic death everytime someone died, it was a lot more emotional, the music was better too.

@xSobhan I agree about the music, but I noticed people love Big Boss more on youtube. Sure, Solid was ace and MGS1 was the best sneaking MGS, in all other MGS' you could kill the enemies and hide, in MGS1 if you were spotted, you are either finished or if you were lucky enough, you could escape (impossible on Hard and Extreme modes btw). MGS is a masterpiece and I like it more than any other MGS at some points, but MGS3 still stands more closely to my heart. I liked the story and the bosses...

When I first played MGS1 when I was 7, I was scared of this music. I'd look around every corner like, "O_o.."

MGS 1 2 3 4 are all good, but none of them had the same impact as this did when it first came out, to be honest not many games have this kind of impact.

The only games that have drawn me in like mgs series has are Mafia and max payne 2, due to the strong focus on story.

Oh and a few point and click adventure games. Most game developers seem to forget how important character development and story is, but then most gamers today only care about how much action there is.
