how did your prk surgery go? i wanted to be an officer to be a pilot about 14 years ago and i asked the officer recruiter about this surery and he said that the us military would not even hire me to clean toilets if i had that operation done. not sure what the rules are now though.

@MortallicA91 its a little different these days. A lot of people with glasses have the oppurtunity to be pilots now but not just pilots go through g testing. Some crew members for certain special operations go through this.

@MortallicA91 yeah you can't be an air force pilot or even be a passenger flight pilot with myopia (inability to see well into distance). man i would have been a great pilot if not for my damn myopia and i'm too scared to have laser surgery, oh well i don't feel bad about it.
