The Eve Maureen feud started 40 years ago, on the brady bunch.When Eve was acting that she hated being in her sisters shadow (marcia marcia marcia) she wasnt really acting, she really was JELOUS of Maureen, and looks like she still is, 40 + years later. Gees isnt it time yu got over it Eve, You can decline brady reunions, you can paint palm trees till yr blue in the face, you can dye yr hair, whatever yu do--YR STILL JAN BRADY. and always will be. When Eve said NO---she didnt want to be on the Oprah show, Shes really saying---NO you ppl arent worth me cancelling my plans and coming to be with you. The publicity would have more than compensated Eve for any moneys lost, by having to go to Chicago for a few days. So the bottom line is--EVE HATES HER BRADY FAMILY. I love the Brady Bunch... but i dont know why? Is it the people? Is it the period in which they lived? ie-no internet/cell phones etc, Was it there groovy funky house with those cool steps and colored glass panels on the wall above mikes den door? Was it there funky clothes? The groovey theme song-Heres a Story, of a lovely Lady? Was it there far out fake grass? Was it the kindness of the parents to their kids? Why do i love the brady bunch? My own family was ok, so why do i love another family?

I like that Susan isn't some glam-queen with botox, she's just herself and tells it like it is. The former Brady Kids really are like a real family of siblings, good and bad times it seems. Theirs was the first TV show for my generation, the late '60s baby boomers' kids who didn't act or look like Father Knows Best, Donna Reed or Leave It To Beaver. They were...cool. ;)

And the past few years, she does seem to exaggerate and lie about things. For instance, she clearly said MJ just gave a peck on the cheek in the many interviews she did before he died.... After he died, she did an interview just weeks after and claimed there was a big romance, they kissed on the lips, and that she thought was gonna be Mrs. Jackson. LOL... Seems to be really craving attention and money the last few years

I'm gonna be honest... I do think Maureen,through her life, has gotten used to being able to do whatever and not worry about others at times (at lot has to do with her good looks she's always had... and still has even in her 50's)

well then the audiobook must be completely different to the paperback because there is zero mention of maturation jealousy. the only time jealousy is mentioned in connection with eve is when she was doing other things and declined the variety hour.

bills2020: Actually that's not true. I have the book and she spoke of Ms. Plumb quite a bit about their times as Bradys. Notably, her jealousy of Eve's quicker maturation and many normal girly activities. She didn't write the book to write solely about the Brady's - it was her life she was recounting. Seemed pretty clear to me!

I read Maureen Mc Cormick's book and there's absolutely nothing in there about Eve Plumb. I was really pissed. She completely glossed over their relationship. Everyone else has said that she used to steal Eve's boyfriends but there was no mention of anything like that. Funny, considering that at the start of the book she says if you're going to tell it, you have to tell it all! I want my $14 back.
