  • i got to try this beer on Saturday and its a great mild. fairly low esters nice malt forward and pretty damn clean for a 1 week turn around. Great job Joe!

  • @fuhme420 You were at my house on Saturday? ;)

  • @leedorham well I was but you weren't....

  • Sounds really nice. Have you messed with no sparging? It is supposed to produce a nicer malt profile for small beers as well. I haven't tried it yet, but was thinking about it.

  • @arrogantbastardale No, haven't tried it. Paranoid about leaving too much sugar behind I suppose. If the end product is better I could dig though.

  • Small grain bill 2 hour boil loads of hops 1 month in bottles and you got a full bodyed mild.

  • grain to glass in 7 days? WTF... how long did you let it ferment?

  • @rawimpact 4 days. The o.g. was only 1.043 so that's not too unusual. Impossible without kegging, of course.

  • Nice update, sounds like a good batch of beer.

  • Sounds real good. I was looking for an easy, session-able English style ale. Might give it a try!
