People say that Horry's shot in 2002 was the end of the Kings. Well perhaps, but you can't forget that they were still a contender in 2003 (Webber got injured) and 2004 (another 7 game series, this time with the T-Wolves) and were still fairly decent in 2005 and 2006 (when they got Artest). They should have won one, possibly two chips during the 1999-2006 span. They were such a fun team to watch.

Well, he did run right over to the Maloofs and celebrated with them. The Maloofs got Artest in the middle of this particular season, and it was because of Artest's play down the stretch that the Kings made it to the playoffs.
