  • Old Skoool 50

Cant hate hes still doing his thing

    and doing it well .

  • you fools argue bout so much crap its unbelieveable. 50 cent is rich and does it by being a succesful business man and ceo and entertainer. all of you who say he's not an inspiration get of the youtube video and go do something that is inspiring. go aim for something and stop wasteing time moaning and winieing about celebs... plus everyone knows that 50 only does that drug and murder related rap as a symbol of aggression and ruthlessness its natural so just allow it stop actin like nursery kids

  • Atencion ladies and my niggas! I got the latest track with B.O.B ft El Que Faltaba "She's On Fire" this shit is hottt! Pass by my youtube channel and tell me what you think.

  • he seems to be more self-confident than ever before :D amazing track

  • Wow nice ! This man kick ass he is the underground king !

    Forever 50 Cent Fan !

  • I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually enjoy this track by 50. Reminds me of his 1st album. Sounds hungry

  • @Blackbeans2 I agree man some of his songs on his album remind me of his old school shit when he was hungry

  • This is hip hop

    It go clip pop

  • nice (y)

  • derbe nice!

  • BISD was a good album however war angel lp was better in my opinion

  • g2daooze u man u said it u the man fuck a 9 to 5 its slavery has to be done i understand but 50 the man he got brains

  • OMFGG y da fuck did he switch his style up on B.I.S.D worst album he made

    i only bumped crimewave

    this track is fya

hope the next album is gonna be good

  • 1st of all BISD is good but 50 is less and less marketable because he cant seem to diversify. he sticks with the same formula on his cd's and his marketing approach...he starts beef, releases a song for the ladies then discusses the beef while the album sells..ja rule, fat joe, camron then he fucked wit hov and he didnt respond so it failed. he needed rick ross for this one but ricky attacked him when he wasnt prepared to release a cd..the jig is up homey...jigga my nigga

  • 50 u are the best!

  • 50 cent no how to blow it up for real dog

  • eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh todavia no se te quita lo pendejo.

  • Nigga 50 is still keepin it real on the real

  • bUEN RITMO ESTE ES EL 50 QUE QUEREMOS VER, NO AQUELLO DE I DO ANITHING

  • he's interesting. i wonder what he does when he's not recording...

  • ok.... Rappers delight was fukin 10 times better.... No ffence 50. but if you wanna copy a NASTY song lik that at least do it BETTER!... "BITE!"

  • wow

  • 50 has good music and frkn good punches. He beat the CRAP out of out of some dude yesterday night in NYC after he called him a nigger , the guy was demolished. TMZ posted the video at tmzfights. com

  • this my nigga

  • 50 the best!

  • you said he look retard what the fuck you look like a dick growup have class

  • your are hater for real that shit fire fuck you hater kiss 50 ass go 50 love

  • dude went straight downhill after "get rich or die tryin."

no way he's ever gonna match that shit again.

this is a new level of wackness even for 50.

straight dumbed-down hip hop in it's purest form.

  • Wow shut the fuck up. You guys don't like him don't watch this video or listen to his music period.

  • how about we keep hating wack shit and you keep eating 50's dick?

    see. everybody wins.

  • how da hell he go downhill afta grodt if tha massacre went platinum in 4 dayz. i swear ppl b fakin on tha massacre

  • it went platinum fast because fans were expecting a good follow-up to his first studio album.

critics agree that it didn't live up to GRODT--no wonder because it was just a bunch of radio hip-pop.

his most recent album is probably the best example cuz it debuted at number 5 on the charts and was his first to sell under 500k in the first week.

    straight downhill.

he hasn't stopped making money though. even in this economy his sensitive ass still gets paid after suing people over bullshit.

  • @WuTangSword05

    GRODT-12 million

    MASSACRE- 11million

    curtis-6million

    what did wutang do?

plus bisd was sick but the marketing for it was bad cause he should have put hold me down and i got swag on the radio

  • are you seriously trying to trade wu-tang for 50?

even the lyrically weak members of wu-tang (odb, u-god, rza) have more skill than 50.

do even you know who GZA is?

    inspectah deck?

    fucking ghostface killah??

this GANGSTA GANGSTA shit is way too played out--50 doesn't even live by that lifestyle.

he's selling lies to ignorant fans for millions.

as for record sales and marketing...

"if you go platinum, it's got nothin' to do with luck // it just means that a million people are stupid as fuck"

  • @WuTangSword05

first off way to quote someone who is not in wutang.

second isnt gza that 40 year old who dissis 50 on stage to get attention.

third, inspectah deck and ghostface killah are just not smart enough to have the sucess that 50 has.

foruth ur the one that brought up that 50s new album sold under 500k first week.

"You'll nevver have no secruity you'll never be famous, you'll nevver know wat its like to be rich lifes a bitch aint it." -Eminem

  • does the fact that technique isn't a member of WTC make the quote any less relevant??

    no.

listen to "how to rob" or "piggy bank."

50's career was made by name dropping to get attention. GZA has earned his title without dropping names.

i'm assuming that you never heard of or listened to "liquid swords"--it's a hip hop classic.

give me the dopest/most intelligent (good luck) 50 cent quote that you can think of.

i'll beat it with one from ghostface or deck. or any WTC member for that matter.

  • does it make it any less relevent? No. so then why did u even bring up sales?

if you knew anything about 50 u would know that he had a deal before he wrote how to rob but when he got shot the industry shut him out so he attacked the industry with how to rob.

and sorry to tell u but GZA deosnt have a title.

if you think 50 isnt intelligent read his book the 50th law or read the details on the 100m+vitamin water deal.

I dont need a 50 line all i need is

"then 50 came through like hurricanes do

  • ur right

50 cent used to be hard on the streets and all that, but he smartened up and matured and now he is a very successful businessman

for someone to even dare compare any member from the wu tang to 50 cent right now, needs to wake up to this decade

go to any white suburbs and ask a white soccer mom who 50 cent is and they'll sing you a song....ask them who anybody from wu tang, or even wu tang itself, and theyll look at you like a deer in front of headlights

    household name vs unknown

  • im glad u see it my way i dont just listen to the music i like listen to the person who sings it and i find 50 cent interesting not like theese other rappers loike gucci

  • @resellworld

so ask that white soccer mom what she thinks of hip hop. 50 ain't exactly setting any kind of example. everybody these days got a negative association with hip hop because they think that rappers and listeners are either thugs or wannabees.

i can't speak for anybody else here, but i fucking hate having to explain to motherfuckers that hip hop isn't just a bunch of bullshit nonsense that's on BET and MTV.

    wake up to this decade??

there's a reason they called it the golden era...

  • @G2DaooZe

    that's pretty funny.

gza also attacks the industry on his track "lables."

he uses wordplay and calculated rhyme schemes to address specific record labels and take shots at the industry without dropping names.

all 50 could rap about was which celebrities he was gonna rob?? fail.

    remember 50 vs kanye?

"Reverend Run has confirmed what many folks believed about the so-called beef between 50 Cent and Kanye West last year - it was a publicity stunt designed to sell records. "

  • everybody knew it was a publicity stunt and guess what it worked. what has worked for gza? thats right nothing.

  • @G2DaooZe

GZA never had to scam fans into buying records LOL. but if that meant money wasn't gonna happen for him, at least he got his artistic integrity and dignity at the end of the day?

say 50 dies tomorrow, his money's gone. the rap game forgets. he left no mark/impact on the game. he had money and made music about having money.

GZA is ACTUALLY a legend. you just ain't schooled enough on hip hop to know it.

rap must mean absolutely nothing to you, homie. just a fad you fell into.

  • @WuTangSword05

COme ON! How to rob is a billion times better. Wit.Humour.Satirical even. How to rob is more intelligent by far!! gza is just pure angst.

  • @G2DaooZe oh yeah i saw that vitamin water commercial. wasn't there one part where he attacks a guy in the band?

he couldn't do a commercial for water without going gangsta gangsta all over it??

there's no doubt this guy knows how to sell himself. the video games are a pretty hilarious example.

but what about that myspace ad "shoot the rapper and win a gift card?"

50's image is built on the fact he got shot 9 times...why'd he get all sensitive about it and sue the company that put the ad out?

  • Whats cool about the vitamin water deal is that he took the endoursment(?) money bought stock in the company, then coke came and bought the company and 50 made over a 100 million off it. cuz hes smart.

his video games have sold over 2.3 million copies which as u said is hilarious.

as for the ad they used his face without his permission so he sued them and got millions for it, so i guess thats why he got all SENSITIVE?

  • @G2DaooZe

so is any of this beginning to sound like a scam to you??

dude sells MILLIONS video games and records about how gangsta he is. people buy it. he's that gangsta. that's how he's perceived. that's what they take him for.

so he turns around and sues that company for using his image?

basically saying, "i sold them the image, but i don't want people lookin at me like this. i don't stand to lose anything here, but i'm gonna see how much of their money i can get outta them. fuck em all."

  • so if you become famous and pepsi put a cg image of you drinking there pop and you dont get shit for it, ur telling me u wouldnt sue because if u wouldnt ur dumber then i thought.

and what scam r u talking about i like his music so i buy his cds, my friend liked his video game so he bought it, liked what i read of his book so i bought it, so wat part of this sounds like a scam?

  • when you freely purchased the cd's, did u get a full album as promised? If yes = No Scam

when your friend freely bought the game, was he able to play it with no issues? If yes = No Scam

I too am curious as to what the scam is exactly?

    lol

  • @resellworld

i guess just the bullshit he's shoveling...

    just like Jadakiss said:

"Yeah, you got a felony, but you ain't a predicate / Never the King of New York, you live in Connecticut"

lives in connecticut, but says he runs new york?

    ain't runnin shit--it's all BS.

the rick ross issue comes to mind--you don't think his listeners felt scammed to learn that the dude they thought was fuckin with major coke was really a former cop??

  • no, ricky still sold

as i said before, i dont listen to 50 or follow him. I did like his book, and he has made a lot of money, and most important he has a lot of fans. If you have 3 fans and your music is lyrically correct, what does that matter to someone with millions of fans?

but like I said, i don't care, I rarely listen to hip hop anymore, because like yourself, I like to hear good lyrics. 50 cent is not lyrical in my opinion, but you cant take away the fact that he makes good music.

  • @resellworld i jus wanna say this im starting a beef or anything but you say ricky still sold but ppl say 50 flopped? people on here are so dumb its unbelievable

  • @fingerprint90 : TARZAN English yes

  • @Spetors What

  • just like Jadakiss said:

"Yeah, you got a felony, but you ain't a predicate / Never the King of New York, you live in Connecticut"

and where is jadakiss now? who cares.

like immortal technique said "i dont descriminate against people that make money and move out of the hood because its not in our culture to be poor."

and anyone who though rick ross was drug kingpen is obviously not that intelligent

  • LOL this is by far the funniest comment, especially if you read it out loud

im sure jadakiss is living in a nice suburban area himself, as nobody who makes good money stays in the hood except drug dealers. I think when jadakiss said that, he really meant "hey im jealous of your success I wish I could live like you"

and what immortal technique said is very true, Blacks (or whatever you call us) are not supposed to be poor, people should look at our real history before "America" was taken over

  • @Spetors - Im sure you do, but only online, never in my face, or any black persons face at that

u must be the type that sits behind ur screen and talk shit huh?

    lol

  • @Spetors

I bet you don't even know the real definition of a nigger......which sort of makes you a nigger when you think about it

as resellworld said, you would never say it to a black persons face

    FAIL

  • Spetors

Im sure you were one of those kids that got picked on all throughout school, and ass raped by your uncle

everybody on here seems to hate you

do your parents a favor and stand in the middle of a highway so that we can have one less fag in this world

  • @resellworld

you should peep that episode of cribs that visits redman's house.

jada prolly meant something more along the lines of "stop lying."

he lives in yonkers actually. so does most of his crew. it ain't exactly the suburbs...

you're right too--tech does speak the truth.

    doesn't fit here though.

it's not in our culture to build yourself up by perpetuating stereotypes over the TV and radio. he's making money---no doubt about that. but his lyrics/subject matter are setting people back.

  • @WuTangSword05

lol....I saw that episode, that was funny

yes I agree 50's lyrics definitely do not reflect the lifestyle he lives right now (except the bling). So if anybody listens to his music and actually believes thats what he does, needs to wake up and realize that he is all marketing

now MAYBE he did that before he got in the game, but I dont know, and im sure neither one of us cares either

if his lyrics were a little sharper, and little more positive i would probably listen again

  • @resellworld

i completely agree with everything you said.

your last comment especially--but that's the attitude that everyone has when it come to hip hop nowadays.

say whatever you want about nas' career today--one of the greatest to bless the mic.

he wasn't talking out his ass when he said "hip hop is dead."

it's not exactly true though--hip hop didnt die.

its just harder to find these days. with cats like 50 and wayne milking the game and not giving anything back, hip hop is falling off.

  • @WuTangSword05

setting people back? 50 has millions of fans that know he came from nothing to making 100's of millions of dollars and being the ceo of his own companys, which im sure inspire his fans to be more, then it does to make them go out and shoot people.

  • @G2DaooZe

"The ability for an individual to become wealthy out of poverty does not necessarily indicate that there is social mobility in his or her society"

CIA fueled the crack epidemic. now they get dudes to rap about it to audiences of millions so they can keep the cycle going.

    inspiring them to be more?

    50 quote for you:

"i'll kill you for your crack spot; take everything your ass got"

he does more to inspire dudes to buy flashy shit when they can't afford to pay their fuckin bills.

  • 50 doesnt buy shit he cant afford thats why youll never see him wearing anything more then a cross around his neck, unlike theese other rappers who havent sld closet to 50 and run around with charms bigger then thier head.

so what is wutang doing to prevent the cia's crack plans? get off your high horse.

immortal technique does way more and stands for alot more then gza ever will.

  • @G2DaooZe

i'm not exactly sure why you keep coming back to gza and wutang either...you wanna discuss any other rappers? can you?

come on, kid. this shit is too easy.

  • @WuTangSword05

what other rappers? we were talking about gza and 50.

but i can see u gave up. lol.

  • @G2DaooZe

you keep coming back to the genius when the conversation has steered away from him.

replies gettin old for me so PM if you like.

and go on supporting a child-beating, culture-killing, studio thug. people don't acknowledge that cats are out there rappin about history and philosophy and social ills because of cats like 50. keep thinkin 50 and rappers like him don't keep the targeted black youth in a hole by dumbin em down, turning them into little hoods. i see it. every day.

    peace!

  • @WuTangSword05

Child beating? Studio thug?look at gza rappin like hes hard when he hasnt done shit. also if dumb little kids are going to turn in to hoods blame it on the parents not rappers.

  • @G2DaooZe

child beating--he had his boys assault the son of game's manager for wearing a czar entertainment shirt.

studio thug--doesn't live in the hood or even in new york but he raps about it. that's what we hip-hop heads call "studio thug."

you really expect parents to be inside their child's head all the time? they can only do so much--seems you can't understand that impressionable kids take after their role models.

    binary star--honest expression.

    check it, homie. learn something.

  • @WuTangSword05

50 was found innocent and as proven to not even be in the area when the kid was assaulted, and i find it sad that someone that speaks so highly of his knowledge on rap does not know of this.

he grew up in south queens, NY so he can rap about it as much as he wants. also just because he can afford to move to an estate in connecticut and GZA cant does not mean you have to resort to jealous remarks.

and once again, " its not in our culture to be poor." I.T.

  • @G2DaooZe

50 kicks game and buck out gunit for not beefin...but yayo stays on gunity board of directors after assaulting the kid?

really? dude's equally guilty, homie--doesn't matter where he was.

    jealous remarks?

motherfucker i can't stand having to explain to people that hip hop is actually an artform and not just a bunch of hood rich retards exploiting the art and rapping about chains and cars and hoes as 50 does.

is it in our culture to make a mockery of true artforms? please enlighten me.

  • 50 kicked game out he was going against the people that were taking care of him, buck got kicked out cause he had drug problems and wasnt producing hits.

if your brother murders someone, should u go to jail to beause some how ur EQUALLY GUILTY? makes no sense.

50 is rich so he raps about being rich, when he was poor he rap'd about being poor. what do u want him to rap about.

  • @G2DaooZe

you're 100% wrong about the game. 50 wanted to start POINTLESS beef (with game's friends-joe budden, fat joe), game didn't want any part of it, so 50 dropped him. kicked buck out over nothin too--so much for that gunit loyalty LOLOL

oh he's not guilty here in the criminal sense--by allowing it and not booting yayo, he might as well have slapped the kid himself because it's an equally terrible act. he doesn't care about kids--g-unity just makes him look good.

    where's your head at??

  • "good artist copy, great artist steal."

so if 50 took what other fake ass gangsta rappers were doing and did it his own way to get rich then so be it .

  • that quote disgusts me—u should be ashamed for that thinking.

there was the importance of style--a focus and emphasis on INDIVIDUAL style. style identity was an absolutely paramount factor in the development of the original elements of hip hop. early hip hop pioneers were consumed with forming and representing THEIR OWN style. to the pioneers, originality wasnt based on arbitrary "newness," but on the stylistic innovations of the creative commons one was able to make."

    -beattips manual pg36

  • @WuTangSword05

whatever happened to the parents being the role models?

  • @G2DaooZe

people will always want more than what they got--human nature. kids will always view musicians as role models. it's been that way and it's not gonna change.

problems arise when this materialistic gangsta bullshit takes over the airwaves and it's all they come to know about a rich culture.

sure, TRUE emcees aint wealthy. but they have certainly motivated and inspired me to learn about the artform and the world while furthering my own skills as an MC/beatmaker. cat's need to prioritize.

  • @WuTangSword05

okay kids view musicians as role models but kids thats parents were there for them will most likely to not go out and rob people or sell drugs.

i mean i view niccolo machiavelli, 50 cent, and steve jobs as role models but it doesnt mean im going to go out and rob people or sell drugs.

  • @G2DaooZe

"most likely" isn't good enough. and not every kid has that luxury--specifically the kids that rappers like 50 and wayne are targeting with their music. you can't honestly believe that this gangsta shit isn't really being marketed towards black youth. it's purely detrimental. what kind of grown ass half-intelligent man wants to hear about "gangsta's delight?"

it's not new or innovative or original at all--just the same ol' bullshit that turned rap into a commodity in the first place.

  • @G2DaooZe wutang fans ride or die u gotta give em dat

  • @G2DaooZe

jada's in yonkers. didn't sell out.

i'm sure a lot of rick's fans thought he was movin weight. and ur right---most of them were prolly unintelligent. whats that say about 50's fans thinkin hes hardcore gangsta? i mean come on--we're discussing on "gangsta's delight." u listened to the lyrics?

it's not in our culture to be poor? i agree.

so i should go get rich by setting my race back?

"i'm talkin bout the one too many ignorant suckas / lying on the mic to my sisters and brothers"

  • out of curiosity .......

im sure we both have the same level of what we tolerate to be fed into our heads (music wise)

what do you listen to? and who would you consider great artists?

maybe you can tell me about someone Ive never heard of

although I can say, that the wack rap music of today has led me to open my mind to the other genres that exists, and I am sort of glad I branched out a little

I listen to daft punk a lot, and most don't know that a lot of hip hop is sampled from them ;)

  • @resellworld

absolutely man--i'm a big daft punk fan too.

i bump gang starr, pharcyde, the roots, binary star, rakim, pete rock and CL, nujabes, matlock (underground here in chicago but on itunes--so dope), KRS, the last emperor (you GOTTA peep him), jurassic 5, brother ali (dude's albino--one of the best out there), blue scholars (YES), classified (canadian and better than 80 percent of american cats)

i just want my mindstate elevated man. i rap too--so i know i want substance in my music.

  • ok, cool

a couple of them i've never heard of, so I'll check em out

    thanks

  • @WuTangSword05 Hey WuTang faggot. Do you go on this video everyday & talk shit to people? Like get a life.. No one cares what the fuck your saying. You don't like 50 Cent cool. Then don't waste your time listening to his music period. Your probably a fucking nerd. Like what do you all day? Talk shit on YouTube then say you'll do this & that then when its real life you don't do shit Ha Ah. Fucking faggot no one cares about your life or what you like.

  • @Dyrdek06

    look homie.

when i'm having an informed discussion with other dudes who bring some knowledge to the table, feel free to jump in if you got something.

otherwise you need to go back to your video games you fucking nazi.

    by the way--peeped your channel.

    get a

i don't think a dude who lists his occupation as "major league gamer" should be runnin around telling anyone to get a life or labeling people as nerds. LOL,

you got a big mouth on a small head, sunshine.

  • @G2DaooZe

u know what? why not sue people for using a pic of me? hell, then i'd go and buy a big mac and sue mcdonald's for making me a fatass. then i'd sue that fuckin kid who called me "white trash" in third grade for the emotional distress that he caused.

seriously, that's some feminine shit for a gangsta to do.

i'm a decent human being. ain't money hungry or greedy. i don't need to be an industry whore to consider myself successful. no, i wouldn't sue.

    i guess it's just a GOOD scam.

  • No the scam is the company that used someone elses sucess to gain money for them selfs. and if u and GZA wouldnt sue then now i know why ur both broke.lol.

and are u saying 50 should just ignore the better life he lives and act like hes still a gangster because that sounds fake to me. thats why 50 is real.

and its really sad that u would lay down like that and let other people make money off SCAMMING you

  • @G2DaooZe

how much more fucking money do you think pepsi made by putting his picture on it?? i'm sure it was marginal.

i don't feel the need to sue.

by no means am i broke. but i guess i'm not rich, but 50 got you thinking in those terms. you're rich or broke.

    you're a human.

    have some human dignity.

50 lost it--there's still a chance for you.

    get rich or die trying?

i'd rather live...without being rich. and smoke weed.

  • look at vitamin water 50 took that startup company to a company that coke payed hundreds of millions of dollar for, just by putting his face in the commercial.

so what ur saying is that ur okay with being lower middle class and so is gza, but 50 is more ambitious and wants to be able to buy himself and his kid anything they want, but i guess he still LOST SOMETHING.

  • he lived his life by get rich or die trying because he knew that if he stayed dealing drugs he die or go to jail so it was either die or get rich off rap. but i understand u and gza are ok with working a 9-5 breaking ur back to make someone else rich.

  • I see that u are clearly a wutang fanboy.

I respect wutang & all, but they are totally irrelevant now, & lame 2 some

nobody really cares about whether 50 is setting an example or not, I rarely listen to him, I just gave him props on his success.

i dont have to ask anybody what they think about hip hop, because it doesnt matter, its everywhere, Tv, Radio, Commercials, Movies, Ads, etc. Its more popular than any other music

soccer moms endorse it because it encourages their children

  • @resellworld

fanboy not even. we just seemed to have gotten stuck on him...i got countless examples.

"its everywhere, Tv, Radio, Commercials, Movies, Ads, etc."

    the saddest part...

my biggest issue is the commercialization of something that used to mean something.

you're not talented anymore. you're marketable or you're not. doesn't matter if you live by what you rap about. few cats in this game are actually true.

    shit's depressing.

  • massacre is a classic, but if you look at his sales, he hasbeen steadily going down hill, especially since he lost interscope. it took 3 years to do b.i.s.d and it wasnt even half as good as blueprint3 or carter3. he also didnt lyrically end rick ross who also had a better album. Im not saying that he is over, but he is doing too much at once and the music quality is suffering.
