to think it's only been a few months since I stopped hating gay people, it tears me up on the inside knowing that I've started fights etc., I was raised a catholic and left the church 2 years ago but that anger kept until recently, if anyone gay or bi or trans out there is reading this, I want to say I am sorry. When I think about it, it makes me cry. I am not gay but I am happy that I see a new perspective now on life.
I am Christian and bisexual...I wish I could show this to the priest who kicked me out of his church when I was 12. I told him I thought I was bisexual, and he told me to never return... But now I am 17 and I know the truth. God loves all of his children, and he would never send me to hell for being bisexual, because he made me this way.

WoW! so true. It's crazy. I grew up in a VERY religious home..know exactly how that goes. I believe in God but i believe that he loves EVERYONE for who they are. You can't hide behind a book and say we're all going to hell, especially when that book says a lot more that would consider the same people who are condemning, sinners as well...I'm not going to hell because I'm a woman in love with another woman. GREAT song. I'm a lesbian and this really made me think a lot. I used to hide from everyone as if I was ashamed. When I finally came out it felt so much better. People don't even care anymore. They just ignore or accept. And you learn to get past the ignorant people. But love is love and that's all it can be. Whether it be straight or gay. <3

I used to be one of those Christian's but I was gay myself and I didn't want to admit because I was afraid. I truly believed I was gonna go to hell for it. But I don't let bother me anymore. Although the fear of going to hell for it will always be there because it's been pounded into my head since I was a kid. Anyway I totally get what she's talking about in this song. I just saw Melange perform at Portland, OR. Pride 2009, and absolutely fell in love with her music. Its been a while since I've really been able to enjoy Hip-Hop even though I love the genre. Awesome songs and messeges.

Didn't Jesus say: "He who is without sin, cast the first stone." SOME christians are hypocrites. It is only when YOU LIVE WITHOUT SIN that you are allowed to discriminate and condemn people. Obviously, this is said because it is IMPOSSIBLE. So moral is, stop hating because God said love your neighbor. REAL christians would know that. So... Gay bashers...
