  • What a wonder this film is! I first saw this movie about ten years ago one week day morning. I was eating breakfast while watching TCM -- and I wound up late to work, because I simply couldn't tear myself away. I still can't. Thank-you for sharing this bit of beauty.

  • I saw this movie when I was 5 or 6 and never forgot it...I bought it on dvd for nostalgia sake thinking it would be awful..but it was as good as I remembered it and still the best adaptation for cinema I have seen, very beautiful.
