Going with the particular group of aliens that he speaks of will only continue the slavery humanity is currently in. They will seduce with technology. ASCENSION WILL BE ORGANIC.

Pure thought/Heart energy and connection to the one True Creator of this Universe (not the false light) and going within toward the God presence will manifest every need. Devices perpetuate outward dependence. Devices are still a form of bondage. Someone/something offers you a 'device' to help you, they are offering you bondage. To me, that is not ascension.
