  • does this kill my fish >

  • K my question is I did the same setup now I have dead fish dead shrimps like WTF is going on my water smells bad then my nitrate with up high so then I change 35 percent of the water now my fish r happy again before they all went to the top for air and I have a full planted tank before I did this c02 not a damn problem till I use the home made c02 why is this?

  • @GEEZEE562 If you left the co2 on during the night that is why... Plants breather co2 during the day and air during the night.

  • your aquarium seems to ave some issues...

  • What does the submerged gravel bottle do?

  • Ok so i made this but the air tubeing in the 2 liter genorator bottle is submerged like u said but all thats doing is sucking the water out and slowly filling filter bottle and no bubbles are occuring should the air line tubeing be above the water line?

  • @Dengakuman13 Wait till it starts producing bubbles in generator B4 connecting tubing to tank, if the mixture is warmer then your tank water it will create a siphon and draw water into filter bottle. Just wait till mixture is producing Co2 B4 connecting.

  • maaaannn

    dirty tank

  • Does the c02 make thewater cloudy like yours?

  • @JUNAID187 CO2 won't make your tank cloudy.

  • Did it work in an hour?

  • yeah after i make this my plants are more lush and the grow faster!!!!

  • Nice to hear ! good luck!

  • did you see any difference in your plants with this filter system?

  • Yes. Plants Growth rate is fast.

  • Great vid. I just made one of these before i watched this but I didn't make the filter bottle, that's a great idea. 5*

  • @sk8crazy93 thanks! hope you like the vid.

  • How do you diffuse the Co2 into the water?

  • There are alot of diffuser available in the market. Diffuse in general term is to spread or cirulate. The finer you diffuse the C02 in the water the effective it will be. hope it helps!

  • thanks a lot for this video... i'lln be putting a filter on my diy setup.... btw, are you using just plain water inside the filter bottle?

  • yes just water nothing else.

    Thanks!

  • @MrCrismike i would like to know that to

  • nice 1

  • thanks ! hope you like it and hope it helps

  • Wow...Thanks for sharing...

    Youre the man!

  • Thanks! discusdubai? hmmmm.. i wonder who you are..... :)

  • made some changes , see in the middle

  • i wanna know, was ur diffuser effective? coz i dont wanna buy expensive glass diffusers. im gonna try yours.

and btw, im gonna put it in my nanotank that has an airpump pumping oxygen. would that contradict each other?

  • *the airpump is connected to a undergravel filter that pumps oxygen

  • Yes it was, but i would suggest that you use a diffuser which would trap the bubbles for long time or use a wood or sponge diffuser that will fine the bubbles when it releases. The main thing is the more it stays in water the effective it will be and dissolve. its ok to put pump as long as you dont aerate your tank to much as it will releases to much C02 in water.keep it minimal as possible.

  • THANKS ALOT. i did your style including the bottle with gravel. its working but I really have to buy a diffuser. thanks again.
