thats cool, thanks for the advice, id been trying but not getting it right, i did a simmilar thing with the camo face paint, if you change the colours, and make one of them the same color as the skin(cant remember which one looks best), then it looks like the face paint is wearing through to skin like it does during matches. much more realistic than perfect face paint after a hard thought match.

great video, i got some advice too, u want to start out putting a dark green for the bottom tatto, and then tattoos over the green should be the skin color ones, and then the very top tattos shuld be a gray color, so 3 layers shuld be put on the arms .

It took me all but 5 minutes when I 1st popped the game in to figure this out, namely because I do texture mapping and skinning for Poser 7, and the premise is exactly that same as applying a design to a skin texture in Photoshop. You simply match the design's color to the skintone as close as possible, then darken or lighten it according to the pigmentation. People are real fuckin' lazy about this Ink thing on SVR11.

Works the same way with the beards and hair, make it the same skin colour and lighten the shade.

Don't know why people have had problems with it, I've never really used the transparency tool all that much except for tights designs, always used the colour palette for tats and beards.
