met with a serious accident on my optra 06 SS model, head on collision, i had a rib fracture, my wife had rib and hand fracture, my nephew sitting in the back seat walked out with minor scratches, impact was easily 100km/h, mine about 60 and the oncoming 40. during welding , welder says this car has 4 reinforced steel plates, about as strong as a Beemer. Reality Rules, The car saved our lives.

it has a 4 star rating from NHTSA but there is a safety concern for the rear passenger as the dummy head struck the C-Pillar they picked up high force readings which may cause possible head trauma. The car earned a poor rating in IIHS side impact test
