When I listen to the Opeth ballads, I'm always thinking of autumn. How the coloured leaves fall to the ground, the sun shines through the cold air and some clouds pass by. And I just want to go for a walk through a forest to see all these things while listening to those songs... Beautiful! that are really touching pieces that can grab all your emotion and through them out to feel them on a whole new level... I'm fascinated!

@capsaicinhead : I think the reason they capture autumn is manyfold. for one the lyrics and song names such as Dirge for November, Demon of the fall Forest of October. September is mentioned in Night and Silent Water as well as Heir Apparent. Also most music and cover art for bands "death" sub genres capture autumn because it's the season where everything is dying. But Opeth mentions every season in their music: "we enter winter once again" "summer is miles away" "april etherial" etc.
