Weak. This is sadly my favorite out of their new album. The devil and god is the most perfect album ever written. Deja is a close second. The lyrics in this song are alright.......... nothing compared to classic brand new though. Hopefully they can grow some balls for their next album.

ive followed them since fight of your demons. Each album has a distinct sound. I guess its "emotional core" but not to be confused with bands like mcr and escape the fate.

bless3dcurse, I'd like to point out that Brand New's third album was also desperately searching to be a copy cat... have you heard of Neutral Milk Hotel? They prettttty much copied them. Now I guess they prefer the sound of Modest Mouse and Blue October...

Your Favorite Weapon was the best overall brand new album, then lyrically deja entendu, but devil and god and daisy isnt bad, just gradually they sell out a lil more on every album like everyone else... still a great band

Weak. This is sadly my favorite out of their new album. The devil and god is the most perfect album ever written. Deja is a close second. The lyrics in this song are alright.......... nothing compared to classic brand new though. Hopefully they can grow some balls for their next album.

something i've always realized about brand new, is that evey album has a different transition, i mean from you're favorite weapon to Deja Entendu, to Devil and God are Raging Inside Me, to this new album daisy? there's seems to be a pretty big transition in the intrumentation and the vocals i won't tell you that it sucks or that it's an awesome album but every band evolves and they feel the need to find a new sound. regardless i still think Devil and God is their best album ever!!!

Definitely has a Modest Mouse wordiness and bendy notes to it. But anyone song that has bent notes at such a slow stomp will always be compared to MM.

i didn't want them to break up, then i heard this album, they shouldn't of even made this shit. i feel like i am back in 8th grade listening to shitty wanna be emo screamo with horrible lyrics. i remember a time when waiting three 3 yrs for a bn album was the highlight of my life..... never again.

Great album, I just wish they would have tried a little harder to be infulenced by NMH instead of Modest mouse. Im not saying modest mouse is bad, I just wish they have some good acoustic songs with real powerful lyrics..
