Along with a lot of research on it. I didn't need anyone to influence or convert me into whatever like yourself. For instance, if I went back in time to that age just before you saw George Carlin, and told you about lets say, Scientology, and made compelling arguments, with a joke here and there. And made the illusion of intellectual superiority, then you'll probably want to follow this religion for a while. (It's more of a cult actually)
