  • I can imagine if this was evo there would be so much hype xD

  • Fox is not broken... Metaknight is.

  • Spamus!!

  • 100th comment!

  • fox is sooo fastt he's soo broken, he's even more broken than he is in melee omg fox is soo good.

  • alright so thats sheik, pikachu, peach, and zss who absolutely destroy fox like no other

  • All Samus did was spam hit.....O_o.

  • HOLY SHIT, that was freakin awsom!

  • wow fox must have bin pissed off XD

  • really good 0SS

  • lolololol

  • awesome

  • loldownsmash

  • XD That was beautiful.

  • If you're talking about the Dsmash chain, that's inescapable when used on fox or wolf correctly. They just fall too quickly, so they don't get out of the hitstun in time before they hit the ground.

  • How the hell could you pull out a move being chain stuned.. the fox just got owned and could'nt do a damn thing against this.

  • I sense that ZSS was hanging on to its life the majority of the battle

  • If I was Shin I could not contain myself, I would have dropped the controller and punched Ikki in the face in the middle of that chain Dsmash.

  • OH MY GOD!!! 3:00 LOL, Take that you annoying pet!

  • I guess its ok to spam as long as you have the skill to back it up ;)

  • if only these words rang through many ears

  • lmao ima try that

  • Characters like Fox, Falco and Wolf can't escape the dsmash chain until about 60% damage. The platform above Fox in this video really helped ZSS keep chaining the dsmash more times than she actually could.

  • Fox can be chained up to 120% if the move is stale. Ikki didn't get that far because he started at 29%.

  • To clear up some confusion, Fox, Falco, Wolf and to some small extent Captain Falcon can't escape the dsmash chain for some time. It is only possible once they get enough knockback from the move to either DI or DJ out of it. If they can do neither, they land, making them completely vulnerable for 4 frames.

Fox eventually escaped because he DJ'd out. He was proably spamming jump and fair the whole time.

  • zzs owns^^ ur good player Ikki, im going to buy this game after week, if u have wi-fi tell ur number/code(what ever it is) ;D

  • You can tell that ZSS is just itching to pull out the chain Dsmash throughout the entire match.

  • At first, it's like, two minutes and no one's been KO'ed yet.

Then ZSS busts out the whoopass.

    Dayumn.

  • Constant Over B and Down smash, much? =/

  • holy crap they use sheild alot

  • Brawl is a very defensive game. Especially compared to the smash series' previous two (amazing) entries. With Melee you obviously either dash dance or wave dash repeatively for approach, and you dash dance in smash 64 (just like how you move back in forth in other fighting games). A lot of competitive fighting games is about the approach.

  • That was awesome at the end xD

  • omg zss is crazy lol my friend is sooo dam good with her ima try her out

  • Could some one tell me what people are using to records their games? Is it just taking the replays into a SD card and when into the computer or are you using any kind of software or mechanics?

  • Recording software on their PC, hooked up to the TV/wii.

You cannot plug the SD card into a PC to generate video footage.

  • sadly...

  • how do you become zero suit samus at the very beginnign of a match?

  • Hold down the shield button - Select Samus, select stage and then it's starts loading release the shield button. The same thing with Pk trainer and Sheik

  • Actually you can just select the certain character on the screen for Zelda/Sheik and Squirtle/Charizard/Ivysaur

  • yeah, that too. Didn't deny that..

  • actually, you only need to hold down the shield button in the character select screen and while going to the stage select. you don't need to hold it the entire time.

  • lol, good combo

  • the stun combo was epic.

  • Wow. ima make sure to use that chain whenever i can when i play with zss XD

  • Wow! Incredible brawl! I thought the chain at last was a bit cheap at first, but it was actually really cool! It's not like he couldn't avoid it, he ended up doing it.

  • lol you'll have no idea until you've been hit in that chain :P

  • /watch?v=HjyTSnazpPI

  • AWESOME MATCH! And you have no idea how happy ZSS' chain smash has made me. My friend plays Wolf and he's in for it this weekend. *goes to practice* Seriously, Wolf needs a counter. He's a very good character.

  • let's see you do better :)

  • 3:00 until the end..

Wow. ZSS Dsmash chain = pain

  • It would take Ikki to find another chain tech. xD

  • So sexy.

  • Back to back punch.

    *Shwing shwing*

    2:14 LOL!

  • Last kill was ridiculous.

  • I always hated fox...

  • What's there 2 hate about fox give me one good reason

  • he was really cheap in melee and just a bit less cheap in brawl.

  • Seconded.

  • lmao thanks :P

  • Sure. And yeah, Fox is a pain. If you go on Smashboards, you'll find plenty of Fox fags there.

  • I'm sure there are plenty of people who are all like "2 foxes. no items. FINAL DESTINATION!!1!"

I could use any character u want, and any stage. I find rumble falls is not as bad as icicle mountain, and yet, the tourney ppl banned the stage. :/

  • Props Ikki, you're crazy at Brawl

  • lol brawl is amazing

  • man that zero suit samus last part looked so broken i dont think there its way to avoid that

  • true!

  • He jumped away at last, I don't thing it was unavoidable, though it seem a bit cheap at first.

  • I think ikki mistimed the last shot.

  • Ikki did miss the last shot, but it looks like Shin was able to jump out anyway, because he double jumped.

The combo is supposed to work to about 90% or even 121%

  • Can't DI out of it, racks up huge damage, virtually inescapable.

Yup. That's definitely not a combo.

  • That did a lot of damage, too. Even compared to a lot or even most Melee combos.

  • Unescapeable combos are a hell of a lot more boring then escapeable combos. The latter takes more then button memory and pre-memorized timing to perform. Besides...that was a combo. Whether 2 moves (the minmum for Melee's afamed Ken combo) or 1,000 broken ridiculously broken moves (Guilty Gear), a combo is defined as the chaining of moves.

And last I checked, advanced meta games took years to develop. Not a month.

O, and Tactics < Advanced Techniques. Advanced Techniques are easy to learn.

  • IT'S MAHVEL BAYBEEEEE!!!!!

  • That was beautiful.

  • wow that last part was really cheap, but o well it was a good match

  • people send me friend codes !!! awesome fight btw go fox

  • Marry Me Ikki.

  • fox seems to be another top teir

heh o well it might just be the game play of one person

  • Ikki = Amazing

  • Brawl's future metagame looks to be so broken.

    so so broken.

    CHAIN _____!

  • Waveshining says hello

  • what control use?

  • new videos!

  • You could see the fear of the up-smash in Samus' eyes! But she fought well.

  • Incredible. I learned a few tactics from this fight.

  • woow... Chain... stun?

  • That was simply amazing. Something for me to practice.

  • Hah, first Ikki invents King DeDeDe play and now he's improving what people think about Zero Suit Samus.

  • wow nice

  • @2:34: lolmindames.

    Nice match.

  • Awesome!
