Truck driver should be casterated for not securing his load! I've never lost a log while hauling because I always secured my load with chains and binders then wired the handles of the binders so that they couldn't come loose.
@johnjirvin phh i used to cut logs on my dads sawmill that were 4 feet in diameter an 8 or 10 feet long. so hopefully now u can see why i'm kinda disappointed in ur "HUGE" log that is 4 or 6 feet long an maybe 10 or 12 inches in diameter.
Ya I feel bad for the woman and her daughter that were in the car, they were both hysterical .I can't imagine seeing something that big flying at my car, I'm surprised there wasn't more damage done.
