I bought my numark total control a little over a month ago and at first it was working perfectly but now ive been having serious problems with the left deck with either traktor or virtual dj. The controls just work by themselves without having to click or press anything, the songs stop and play by themselves. Anyone help pleeeeeaaaaaaseeee? its urgent. Please i really need help with this.

i want to use my omni as a mixer along with the timecoded vinyl... is it possible.

i want the omni to set loops, use the effects and generally everything it would normally do, but have the turn tables for scratching.

normaly you would usb out of the laptop to the interface box, then anolog (RCA) to a mixer and turntables. but with the omni it also requires a usb??? does this mean two usb need to come from the laptop to make this work.

some one please help i am so lost and cunfused

@joeyblackmancrack im getin the same setup, what i found out was that if you use a midi controller with an built in audio interface, all you need is two usb turntables, that way you dont need to buy another adio io, 2 timecode vinyls, virtual dj 6 or the software you like to use, and there you go :)

I call bull, its virtual dj with a skin , the program is the same except the virtual dj has more skins.. and yes the video is effected by the scratch , due to time code.. its not just the audio its all of it .. if you have a cutting program , you cut the track sample when you mix and scratch and loop it and dump it back in ...

I just got virtual vinyl, using it with a macbook with 2gb of ram and i think it's working great! The program hasn't crashed at all. It seems very reliable, the latency (for scratching) is great, i notice little to none. & being able to see the audio troughs for both decks side by side is an incredible asset for mixing. Serato & Traktor seem great as well, but there's a lot of hate for this product. If your doing the local club or your bedroom I believe virtual vinyl is the way to go.

how do you set the output of the video to a external screen? and what if you had multiple screens? Also why use cue if you have an external mixer already?

because its a midi controller, and crossfading on the external mixer would only cross fade the audio and not the video.

i bought virtual vinyl and its awful. it reduces my digital deck to nothin but scrathing and render all the effects ueless bc fo the timecoded cds. the software itself is runnin non my macbook pro, and issketchy at best. cue point dont get remembered, scratching skis, and most of the video effects are for windows user only. also the search function in it is unreliable and glitches out frequently

i currently am using Traktor 2.6

so i can set the track to loop (with the user defined key{keyboard shortcut x} when i am getting another track ready. But you have to click in the button that looks like pause it will be beside a button marked 1. If done correctly it will open a drop down select Track.
