  • I'm 70's obsessed! Some people get all the luck! :(

  • The '90s: what a decade! We were time-slipping and 'Jurassic Park'-ing, like there was no tomorrow!

  • watching with subtitles gives further subtext to the story it turns out the frenchman wishes to legalise abortion 4:43

  • @Beesneez2day then he hopes that they have had a good shuttle mission definite time travel as the channels tunnel didn't exist

  • Anyone else watch game theory? Oh yeah, 135,140 people do!

  • I brought myself here!

  • @mabakiel666 Another plausible explanation could be that they are not the victims of the practical joke, but the jokers themselves, ie decided to invent the story for whatever reason, financial maybe? Surely once they intermingled with people from the past, they changed the course of history, which consequently would have made it impossible for them to have been existing in the so-called present. The obvious example is going back and murdering your mother before you were born >>>

  • @hauntboy <<<< to negate, not only YOUR very existence, but surely also the existence of everyone else that came later, etc etc. I believe in some paranormal stories, but I am very dubious of this one, based on the fact that they interacted with people from the past and that would have infuenced the future, surely??

  • @hauntboy First of all, you can't make a statement like the one you made unless you know for a FACT that interaction would cause any sort of reprocussions with the future, which nobody can. Secondly, the whole "paradox" theory based on interaction with people from the past, is just that ..."theory".. there is no proof that interaction would cause a so called "butterfly effect" as many speculate. In fact, some scientists believe that no such paradox would in fact occur at all?

  • @JGomezabino First of all, I didn't state it as fact; I added "Surely?" twice, which implied I believed it to be so, and was giving my opinion. However, I just can't see a way where it wouldn't cause repercussions in the future. It just seems logical that it would, and there's no escaping it. But maybe, just maybe, everything would find its way on to where it would have been in the future in as quick a time as possible, before any changes resulted from it.

  • game theory brought me here...

  • Can you imagine if this happens during your normal routine? You go to work one day and you end up at an empty abandoned lot. I mean what the decue?

  • I wish a time slip would happen to me

  • @Kunzspeckyouhouswon dude fuck off how about that, first off I do film for a living but you're probably unemployed with that attitude and mindset, so kindly, get a job, fuck off.

  • @Kunzspeckyouhouswon Nah the fact you believe in time travel shows you need mental help...

  • @Kunzspeckyouhouswon humans aren't mechanical objects, they RELY on electro mag. energy to run their CNS among ten million other things. They would be as non functional as the camera in your scenario.

  • @Kunzspeckyouhouswon no it's light....by your reasoning their eyeballs wouldn't see nor would their central nervous system.

  • @Kunzspeckyouhouswon Camera's don't need electromagnetic energy....it's mechanical and film

  • its fake . i from uk. . if you google it you we see it was a mockumentary wasnt it?

  • Looking at this again I realise that time is stored in the ether. Past, present and future all co-exist "now". It's true that when you look at photos of the past you are looking at them in the present. All history is stored in these field of shifting vibrational frequencies.

  • Who came here because of game theory?

  • IS this real?

  • Alzheimers....

  • That quote at the beginning was of course not Sherlock Holmes but it also wasn't even Doyle.

It really stems from the famous principle,"Occam's Razor",

    by William of Ockham.

"Occam's Razor" was often quoted in Star Trek TNG,

    usually by Commander Data.

For all you rabid anti-theists or atheists out there,

William of Ockham considered God to be the only essential entity.

    All else is contingent.

I just thought that was interesting.

  • Not available on mobile :(

  • this one time at band camp

  • What a load of bollocks!

Mind you at 5:10 he has a great camera, an Afga Sillette. really nice toy camera.

that could have accounted for the lack of a group photograph, as that camera has a tendancy to have a sticky shutter.

  • one time time stood still for me

  • no lie one time i bent down to tie my shoe and when i looked back up all the cars around me were older models (from the 70s i think) and when i blinked everything was back to normal.\

  • @thejohnshue63 there's another video on the side that continues...

  • think they had a significant flash of their past life?

  • this phenomenon is for real it happen to me as I was awakening in my room during the day I was able to see for about 10 seconds a ghostly not fully solid but transparent scene from the past in it I saw a forest and a few feet away from me a look like stegosaurus which seem to see me almost at the end of the scene which slowly fade away. there are lots of these cases on books and in the internet if you don't believe it then ask people who had see ghost that's the past and interacting with it

  • The people who live in that town are probably watching this and laughing their asses off.

  • @straker2 yes, yes we are... my mate told me about this video about bampton, my home town and had to watch, literally unbelievable

  • OOOPS I meant a " hard core fanatical skeptic. Sorry.

  • My husband used to be a hard core fanatic until he, and his best friend found themselves in the middle of a village in Italy which was wiped out by the

Nazis in WW2. They had got lost on a journey from Rome to Castellano. It took

me ages of research to find the information, but it checks out perfectly.

  • I would have asked one of the french policemen "What year is it?" They could have asked them that.

  • Does this stuff really happen?

  • @Midnightryder7 Yep O.o

  • the guys name is alf lol

  • If the theory of relativity (spacetime) and the quantum theory (uncertainty) are combined, time travel seems plausible (uncertain position in spacetime).

  • @agencyman1 i completely agree!!! this universe is infinite, the possibilities are infinite.

  • alien abduction

  • @Chubachus on earth! lol

  • the last case was just them tripping on lsd.

  • Hoax.. French People wouldn't be that nice to English People

  • one thing is clear, people are full of shit, take this not as proof

  • I've travel through time CONSTANTLY.. I go to sleep at night and wake up in the morning.. I can not account for the hours I missed

  • @communistjesus are you a wizard?

  • we all have time slips especially myself. At night the sky is dark and then I tend to close them for a little and when I open them back the sky is blue...like isn't that the greatest magic trick of all time?

  • @communistjesus lol! :oD

  • @communistjesus Hate to burst your bubble but you travel through time even when you are AWAKE! Dum dum DUM.

  • I would like to think timeslips are true but can't help thinking these cases are not true.

  • im sorry but did they not stop to think that that town might have indeed in 1976 one a prize for best kept and left the sign there ever since as a token of pride for the village regardless how long ago, now whilst i enjoy listening to these stories and they are stories this is ridiculous, and how is it possible to be in a place i.e hotel (sigh) then go back again for it not to be there HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE !!! AARDGFGEHFEFFEWG

  • im sorry but did they not stop to think that that town might have indeed in 1976 one a prize for best kept and left the sign there ever since as a token of pride for the village regardless how long ago, now whilst i enjoy listening to these stories and they are stories this is ridiculous

  • The bed had a furry cover and no glass in the window (but it was a hot place with shutters), not sure why that makes them think that contributes to a time slip. It just seems like somebody`s life style to me.

  • Comment removed

  • I would love to believe in time slips. I would love to believe we could just step back in time, but I`m sceptical about it all, maybe it is just people who get lost and can`t find the place again. As for the historical content, there are some places that are so rural that it is like time has stopped in the buildings.

  • good video. if any of you are interseated in aliens check out TheAlienContactee channle his telling the truth.

  • Wonder what they did smoke XD

  • On a trip in an unfamiliar village, one could easily become confused and believe they were on the same street, when in fact it was an entirely different street altogether. Especially after a long day of travelling.

  • Bampton has won Best Kept Village 7 times according to bampton.org.uk - including 1993!

So it is strange that when they went back to take photos, the flowers had gone. Bampton has taken part in the Britian in Bloom competition every year from the 70s up to 2008.

Would be useful to know what time of year they were there, must have been summer if it was light at 7.30pm.

It could be they returned to the wrong village.

  • @mtoshamtosha I think the day they went through Bampton may well have coincided with the day (or one of the days) that this floral display was put out - in the present. I also believe that those involved in the making of the programme would have checked this out, and found it was NOT a timeslip, but had a rational explanation, yet still gone ahead with recreating the story for the programme.

  • good acting though innit?

"cynth...you're not gonna believe this, there's no glass in the window!"

i reckon there's a place in hollyoaks for him if he wants it

  • Space and time are connected and if you alter space then you alter time and vice

versa. Time slips are like a slip into the past or alternative but similar universe.

I have explained the mystery to you all and now it is solved.

  • You can call it time slip! I call it Valium...

  • Fiction reveals truths that reality obscures

  • @toonyloons2006 I like this comment very much kudos to you!!!!

  • if their watch stopped then everything else would have stopped...... the watch has notihing to do with time, it just moves at a constant speed.

  • This was a good one.

  • The only thing that is impossible , is the word "impossible" Peace

  • The old couple was probably smoking some JOINTS...Yeah "flower displays" I am sure.. !!! STOP SMOKING POT!!! for your "glaucoma" ya POTHEADS,,

  • @flyby7a xD bwahahahahaha I was thinking that too

  • Ridiculous that they say they're watch stopped. A watch is just something moving at a certain speed, it has no more connection with time than any other moving object. If that stopped then they're car and everything else would have stopped with it.

  • @Timbadd Time is a strange thing. For example with relativity theory from Albert Einstein... it states that when you get to equal or faster than the speed of light, you could go back in time, or at least make the time go slower than objects who don't travel at the speed of light...

  • @Timbadd , actually motion has alot to do with time no? as through motion time is observed. What we understand as time, we sense it through change of things, universe is a ever changing form. To say that there is a mystery force called time is like saying there is energy. Energy is as real as fairy dust and Puff the magic dragon. Why it isnt real?, well if one talks of energy they have no idea what their saying, its a undefined thing. Its like saying love makes the world go around.

  • @DroopyDog17 can you prove energy isn't real? radiation and magnetic forces are energy, no? just because someone cannot define something doesn't mean it doesn't exist, and also on the other side just cause some delusional kook believes he can feel something, doesn't mean it exists.

  • Energy isnt a specific element of physics. One uses it when they arent specific to a defined form of understanding - Em, gravity, whatever forces etc, energy is mostly used as a description - it was powerful, intense, hot or in physics they say energy changes form indicating that its substance of all things but then u still ask wtf is energy and you define it by all the things it can do. We experience it so it must be there right. See i just established a defenition, for myself atleast

  • @Timbadd , but to actually have a more relevant respone to your comment :P, yea either they conveyed the information realy badly in this documentary or he is full of shit sprinkled with his watch breaking and him geting lost in the town. Or something completely different, this documentary is a horrible source for information

  • @Timbadd And wtf would the car work and the camera doesn't?

  • @Timbadd watches use timing mechanisms to keep track of the time, such as a crystal with a charge applied vibrating at a frequency, frequency being a function of time (1/time=freq.) a time slip could cause your watch to malfunction or even break.

  • @Timbadd but if the watch hadn't stopped the story would be less dramatic

  • @Timbadd You make a good point & it definitely makes sense from a certain perspective. But what if time is not real - rather only a human/mind construct? Time might only have to do with relationships of at least one thing to another one thing. Relativity/comparison of one thing to another one thing (or more). A movement in thought or 'reality.'

If a human being has a *mental* experience 'outside of time' then even "moving objects" would only be a dream of sorts.

  • @Timbadd A fun way to consider at least one paradox re: the concept of time is to view "Inner Light." It's an episode of a now syndicated TV show called, "Star Trek: The New Generation" a.k.a. known as "Star Trek: TNG."

  • Hours fly past whenever I play Oblivion. Don't know how it happens.

  • I need a time travel, I want back to the 18th century!

  • @sazuist i'm curious but why?

  • the money. come on. how could you not know your own currency..

  • @1971ScoobyDoo If you killed Hitler the Nazi's would have won WWII. without Hitler the panzers would have been at the beaches to stop the invasion. and if you got him early enough they would the racist leadership would have been dead & the nationalist Wehrmacht Generals would have taken over and Jews would not have been persecuted and the scientist would not have escaped to america and Germany would have had the A-bomb and we would have to surrender, well till WWIII.- thats one possible ripple.

  • lol donny darko. . . . . . .

  • thats happened to me before 0.0 where i just stand there and 7 minutes go by all of a sudden o.0

  • @1971ScoobyDoo Think, suddenly, all the jews are alive! This is quite terrifying.

  • @1971ScoobyDoo The person which does cause the ripple in time might no longer officially exist, that will be an interesting item for the offender to attempt explaining.

  • @1971ScoobyDoo f that any thing u do no matter how small has a huge efffect like back to the future

  • @1971ScoobyDoo

Charles Lindbergh AND OTHERS actually traveled in a electoral fog- and

    beat time itself

don't believe me? read the account in his last book- and read ...the fog

  • so the evidence for this is.. what a couple of old people say. Well, thats me convinced.

  • first recorded stopping of time was in the bible

  • I believe there is a much simpler explanation for what happened to the two, lets not forget that human memory is the most fallible thing.

  • @1971ScoobyDoo We never know what will happen if Hitler had never been there. For all me know the world would have been in a worse place.

  • Yes i have. I lost 6:57 minutes watching this stuff :)

  • @1971ScoobyDoo You are ignoring the quantuum and multiverse theories.

Apart from that, Hawking expains how going back in time would be harder (well, impossible) due to radiation feedback. Travelling to the future is already happening.

And, hey, what about killing Truman instead?

  • all you need is a flux capacitor and 1.21 gigwatts

  • @1971ScoobyDoo

Indeed, your point is a deep one, because the real question should really be not so much "is time travel possible?" but whether it would be desirable, I am convinced that it IS possible, like you however, I would seriously question whether I would ever truly want to travel back, yes, there is a lot that I would like to change in my life and the world in general, but I would be very afraid that my good intentions would backfire and I would only make things even worse.

  • @peaceandloveletsblow But how would you get out of that wormhole to tell your story?

  • @1971ScoobyDoo I... AGREE wit' you!

  • There's no way possible they could have known Bampton was Best Kept Village 76, unless there was some way to somehow see into time, only backwards. There's no way you can fake that.

  • @murrangurk ...................lol. yea, there's NO WAY for people to know about things that happened IN THE PAST.. i mean, how could they possibly know!?

  • I don't understand the last story.

  • Such BS a watch is an instrument used to measure time. Such a lie when they said it was 7:30 when they got there and it was still 7:30 when they left. The watch should still move unless it was broken. So them saying that it was the same time when they got there and the same time when they left is BS.

  • @TetheredherO I agree about the time thing.. Plus why wasnt the town freaking out or even mentioning the advanced vehicle. What about other vehicles they passed in the town, were they all from 1976??? It doesnt make any sense.

  • @xthantos yups I think the show is a sham

  • @1971ScoobyDoo Yeah..although you think you are gonna make things better..you may actually just fuck up life as you know it.

  • @1971ScoobyDoo

You obviously have no idea of the parallel universe theory.

  • I going to be honest & say I don't know what goes on in these 'time slip' cases. Time travel is not impossible according to Einstein's special theory of relativity, I don't know if time travel has happened here. The people who make the claims seem convinced but on the other hand, we have only their word for everything they claim to have seen, if they could produce some better evidence, like photos then we would have to take it more seriously.

  • @STEPHENWRAYSFORD33 Why would people make fools of themselves and for no financial gain,I think some people tell their stories because they cant believe themselves.

  • @fiesta1100 I don't think they are making fools of themselves. I saw a poll which said that 42% of Brits believe in ghosts, so it's not as though it is a small minority of weird people. There might be a small bit of financial gain, the story wouldn't make front page of the times or the telegraph but they might get paid a couple of hundred pounds by their local paper to be interviewed about it.

  • @STEPHENWRAYSFORD33 just noticed your profile image of a blue tit,Ive got one in my nesting box at the moment,Dont know how many chicks are in there but the parents are quite busy coming and going with food,Also had peregrine falcon feeding on the lawn,Did not see it but the evidence was there.

  • @fiesta1100 you're lucky, I've never had blue tits nesting in my garden before or falcons, just wood pidgeons, sparrows & blackbirds.

  • @STEPHENWRAYSFORD33 Believe it or not the falcon is nesting in a box that is on the side of a gas ometer just outside the town centre which is about half a mile from where i live.

  • I don't know if I believe the 2nd story because... if this was sooo back in time then the proprietor might have a problem with the current monies they were paying him... unless their money hasn't changed since then.. ?

  • Part of rural France celebrate annually festival events where they often dress up in old fashion clothes, take part in sports such as cross bow and archery, and play out acts to keep up with the theme of the party. They must have seen the gusset as tourists who were visiting the event which must have confused the guest thinking they want back in time; they must have stayed over at a hotel inn nearby which catered as part of the event.

  • Devon doesnt have any annual events with old fashioned clothes and hotels - the first case is unexplainable. In the case from France there is no good reason why the photos shouldnt have come out.

  • This was due to the fact that the village they were in was been filmed. They use film props to dress up the surrounding area to make it look old and in accordance to the styled it was filmed in. They must of stumbled across the scene when the film crew have finished shooting for the day they must of seen it looking pretty it looked. The following day they return only to find it has been put back to how it looked originally looked.

  • I've had a few experinces some what like this, but all i can do is chalk them up to bordom so far.

  • Loving that Cortina at 3:57 :P

  • interesting ,,,,,,,babs

  • imagin going back in time and meeting urself as a baby or toddler that be freaky

  • I heard on MUFON from a Dr> Hamilton, that time travel will not only happen in the future, but it has happened before in the past.

  • @stainshield, Stephen Hawking said that the fact that there are no people from the future who are around here now, is proof that time travel will never happen. Coz if time travel was a practical reality, surely we'd see people from the future, today. If you know what I mean.

  • @LemonZeppelin Just because hawking said so,What makes him think they would go to see him.

  • @LemonZeppelin There is also the paradox of what happens if you go back in time and kill your grandmother before your mother was born, therefore you were never born, therefore you couldn't have gone back in time and killed your grandmother. Think about it and it makes your head ace. But I suppose it's not up to us to tell the universe what makes sense and what doesn't.

  • lol I had to check this out because I just traveled 3 mins into the future I got all dizzy then I looked at the clock and it read 4:24 on my laptop and 4:21 on the wall and I have them both in sync. :( yesterday I lost an hour I don't know whats going on and no I don't do drugs !!!

  • sounds more like a time TRIP....

  • i remember watching this on tv years ago , awesome vid , i would like to timeslip into the future

  • the old couple did not take their Aricept that morning...

  • The 2nd case here, Is debunked simply by the fact that well, if you look back into time, it is very easy to find out that the currency people use now wasn't the same as back then. Example, I wouldn't go to walmart in 2010 and pay with a sixpence from 1605, and I'm sure the old french innkeeper didn't let them eat and sleep for free. If in fact this video is real, then they had to have had the type of currency appropriate to that time period. Highly unlikely. jus an old fash. part of france.

  • its just a very old fashond hotel in the south of france

  • It's just unexplored science. Nothing mystical about it.

  • He's an actor...

  • More questions than awnsers

  • i had a time slip once. i am not an old person either. i lost 2 hours once while in a cemetary one of the oldest cemetaries in this city i live in.

  • Acting on the second was was TERIRIBLE.

  • As I've said before, the Bampton one was probably some kind of mistake or coincidence. There's a guy who posts here who lives there and he says it's not uncommon to see the village stripped down overnight like that.

As for the French hotel, not sure. Quite possibly some kind of windup, but a very elaborate one and the photos that didn't come out doesn't make a great deal of sense.

  • this has to be a hoax i wonder if it ever exposed as such

  • how can they reconstruct something as described?

  • This show used to give me nightmares as a kid.

  • ooohhhh i reminber this thanks for putting this up .i have been wanting to see this agen right from me been a kid :o)

  • Hmmm....I wonder about that killing hitler thing. Who says all those people shouldn't be alive? Why is it assumed that they shouldn't be and maybe the world would have been a better place if they had all lived?

  • It's just dimensions crossed through each other. This is very normal and yes possible. We live in one big illusion already. The only reality is silence or the power of all that is. There we all come from and will go back to.

  • lol dimensions already cross one another all the time these people are a step away from wearing tin foil hats.

  • But "that's" nothing "new" to add to the case.

Changing stuff is out of the question, what's behind is behind. There are only "new " possibilities. But nothing can be done in physical way you will know what it is once you understand the spiritual. There is the ONE TRUTH and you know that all is happening with a reason and that changing history is not even necessary :-)

  • Marijuana will do that to you.

  • hahahahah, i agree

  • I must be smoking something else then...

  • Loved this one! Have talked with people that have had similar experiences.

  • how you go to a time slip it baffles me!!

  • past present and future are all happening on different vibrations Simultaneously there are no ghosts..just confused time zones...

  • Did nobody think to ask the folk in Bampton what had been happening the day before? Was there a film crew in town, shooting a scene from the 1970s, for instance?

  • This shows us that Time Travel is possible, because there was a guy at MUFON said that Time Travel was happening because of Time Slips.

  • i love your videos, thanks for the upload,i have suscribed

  • it's funny this is the show that got me interested in science back when i was 5 or 6 years old. and i'm now at university taking physics degree

    weird how things work out.

    great show thanks for uploading

  • But I do not think that time is as straightforward as we have envisioned it. In addition to the time slip phenomena, take residual hauntings, where a scene is replayed back over and over again with regularity at the same places and times that it has been for possibly centuries. Examples: Tower of London, Civil War soldiers at Gettysburg. These sorts of ghost stories are not involved with spirits at all, but rather of some sort of imprint left on the environment. An imprint that transcends time!

  • @orion7763,

I wholeheartedly agree! I don't believe in earth-bound spirits. I believe that once you die, you go to the next world. Why would spirits be doomed to keep fighting at Gettysberg for all eternity?! As the British say...rubbish! But an impression of them, sure.

  • There are so many stories of time slips. Imagine if just ONE of those stories was actually true, of the so many there actually are. That changes everything. The prospects for time travel suddenly seem very real. Great Scott!

  • maybe they were having a village fait that was remembering when they were the best village
