Same here. I think I have seen your boat. I sail a white C&C 30 named Ursa. I hail from Shelter Island.

@drno8888 ... and I/we may have seen your sheets along the way. My skipper-friend's got a 30-foot C&C, a well-maintained '70s vintage. (Seen in my vid/song, "Voyage of the Susan Elizabeth," sailing between NY and Nantucket, with MV stops between.)

@Bob6stringer Great video. I am alsways looking for other C&C 30s and I may have seen that boat. Sadly I am selling her and will miss it greatly as it is asucha great sailing boat.

@drno8888 I'm not THE sailor, not the skipper, but have come to appreciate the perfect compromises between speed -- the long-line -- and high-bow comfort. Those '70s lines, once state-of-the art, make for the perfect cruiser in current times. If you're out C&C-spotting, look for a white 30-footer with a maroon rain dodger coming your way from Southold. And best of success in the sale and in your future ventures-forth.

@Bob6stringer Thanks. Yes the high bow means dry ride which you don't get on newer boats. I hail from coecles harbor on shelter island and I I've seen that c&c. Small world. Cheers.
