Nikon isn't good for videos but for photography yes.Canon is great for videos as well as photography if you don't believe me,watch short action films on youtube,you will notice that 99% of them use a canon.Just giving you some advise for later on changing DSLR.PS,I have a Canon Rebel T3i!

@MrNerf231 It's a very expensive camera... It's not something that you can just take it into the rain, sand, water, or else it will break, I don't suggest it if you don't know much about handling cameras. I do because I take photography. But, it you do know a lot about that type of stuff, then I suggest getting a Canon, Canon cameras are way better at taking video, if you just want to take pictures, then get a Nikon. If you're trying to save money, go with the Canon T2i, very good camera. :)

@MrNerf231 Ok, I have the Canon 300D, but, it can't take videos, so I was gonna get the T2i because it has a place where you can hook up different mics, example, a shotgun mic. But the Nikon D3100 does not, the Nikon D3100 has a continuous auto focus, but, it's not perfect, the best thing to do if you want to compare them, is try them yourself. ;)
