Roland A-33 and SC-55 Sound Canvas

i recently bought a roland midi controller and i was wondering(cause im a little inexperienced)if i buy roland sound canvas sc55 , dont i need a laptop to have an audio output?i mean could i use only my midi controller connected to the sound canvas and have an audio output from the canvas?

@pornovlaxos yes, you can use only your midi controller + sc55 (sc55 has audio output). you can connect the sc55 to an PA system directly (also to mixing desk or power amplifier)
