  • Was it a great landing? There didnt seem to be any ground effect, the glider seemed to be stalled on approach, probably "OK" to land this slow but in gusty conditions the same technique could be less than adequate!

  • What you don't see is the quite strong and very steady headwind. But you are right, in gusty conditions I would have flown much faster. This landing felt very comfortable.
