@paulyv23 Because the record label is the primary beneficiary of record sales. As it pertains to that, the artist makes next to nothing off of album sales as compared to merchandise sale, and concerts, and such. So my downloading the music isn't the issue.

Look at it this way...The record label is the bands employer. theyve funded them and backed them and the band signed a contract. the label pays to promote all those shows the band makes "their" money from. If the bands sales are low (and digital is the way now my friend) there will be no more label deals. It's a business just like any. if product is stolen theres no profit.

He met the lead singer in a bar, and the guy liked the way he played, so he had him join the band for a while. They were called Steel Toe before they got signed to Godsmack and then changed their names to Dropbox without my boyfriend in the band. He had to leave because he needed to come back home and visit his mom. I know that this song is actually about my boyfriend's friend who liked to dance.
