mrshane737...yoda said in episode 3 when obi wan asks him weather or not Anakin is the chosen one, yoda replys..''a prophecy misread could have been.....also in episode 5 the emperor warns Vader how strong young skywalker can and will become if he becomes a jedi...even waning vader he could destroy them both!!! again at the end of episode 5, Vader tells Luke after there fight.....he can destroy the emperor...''it is his destiny'' im sorry but if not for Luke the prophecy wouldnt have fulfilled

@apollonas101 nope, your wrong... the prophecy said the chosen one would destroy the last vestiges of the sith and bring balance to the force... luke never did this, luke nearly died to the hands of the emperor.... but it was vader that killed the emporer leaving only one sith left, himself... so he destroyed the last sith (darth vader) and allowed anakin to become one with the force... remember vader is twisted and diabolical and the thing he hates the most is himself...

He starts with holding his lightsaber with one hand, easily toying with Luke, and gradually starts overpowering Luke as he uses both hands.
