  • mom: honey what do you want for christmas

    kid: sogod bay

  • This cam has better video quality than LX3 does it?

  • where did you get the underwater housing & how much was it

  • Was this at Napantaw?

  • did you use a color-correction filter (aka magic filter or URWPro)?

  • nope though your idea of magic filter sounds great ! maybe i should give it a go but i find the underwater mode seems fine..

  • tol whats up with that beeping sound on the back ground??? i have the same problem wid my lumix ts1.... do you know how to fix that???

  • you need to update your firmware

  • Actually, after looking again it could use a bit mor red as the anthias look a bit washed out. The yellows are great. Great sound too . You can even hear a pop as the parrot fish bites off a chunk of coral or rock!

  • this is my 2nd vid shot so i was still playing around with the settings...maybe i went a bit too fast..getting better as you can see in my manta (No4.) . But really i havent done much..the camera is mostly automatic.. Am sure the colours can be enhanced during the video editng process thru Sony Vegas 9..though i would have preferred PANY add vivid colour to their firmware...pl subscribe sto my channel :-p

  • I think you should keep it natural rather than have everything glowing like a pic from a tourist pamphlet. You seem to have captured the colors about right. Anyone whose been arround a reef and soft corals knows that most of them aren't really colorful. When a colorful fish does come into view you can see that your camera is picking up the color very well. Just my opinion . Great vid

  • never seen such beauty in my own hometown . .thanks for sharing the video .. hope 2 dive there soon . .

  • Wow! You must have had fun taking this video! Maybe Panasonic can update the firmware with a Vivid option? I have the same camera and pleased with the standard. These cameras can only get better! :)

  • is this cam waterproof?

  • No u need a thing around it lol

  • That would have sucked...O its not waterproof I saw underwater videos on youtube:-/

  • Dont get me wrong very sharp picture but if you compare it to a Canon SD970 HD video with color vivid option on you will see what I mean

  • sounds like a neat camera too. well in avchd editor one can change the saturation and colour on vid.

  • WOW love the nature scenery but the color is flat like my Panasonic SD9 HD camcorder. Canon SD970 with Vivid color option on seems like it has the color right

  • thanks and yeh its my first time using it. I will try and found out how to make the colours more vivid..not sure how though since the settings are mostly auto though i could experiment with diff colour filters taped across the lens
