Reading your original post it sounds like we think our rights give us more freedom than they do at least according to the last line.
Now our rights are pretty much gone. People are routinely arrested for guns and when you REALLY need them (like during the Katrina) they took them away and beat up old women.

I suspect that the crux of FDA's complaint is in their final food comment. If they were raising and distributing beef and chicken through the co-op without proper permits and food certifications, they were violating the law.
That being said, the way the warrants were served is unconsionable. There WILL be a revolution in this country, possibly within our lifetimes. Think carefully about which side you want to be on, and get your guns while they are still legal!

Reading your original post it sounds like we think our rights give us more freedom than they do at least according to the last line.
Now our rights are pretty much gone. People are routinely arrested for guns and when you REALLY need them (like during the Katrina) they took them away and beat up old women.
We have the illusion of freedom, but not the actual freedom. Most of it was given up to the war on drugs. It's what grew the police force to get so much power.

The only way we will ever get our freedom back is for a large segment of the population to walk out in the street and demand it back. The problem is with all the new laws, the gov infiltrates rights organizations and labels them terrorists. So for the movement to happen, it needs to happen spontaneously and without leadership. Things will have to get much worse and they are (at this very moment) training for that very scenario. To crush it before it gets big enough to make a difference.

This type of behavior from our government has been going on for way too long, this is not the beginning, nor the end. Our rights as "Free Americans" are being pulled away daily by the people in office. I believe in doing right by your family and community. And the constitution will be changed many more times. I'm appalled and I have already voted a petition against Monsanto and the Codex Allimentus, as a holistic healer, I feel it is important to have the natural alternatives and to have the food we need.
I use the UK COOP all the time as you know they are ethical and the fruit tastes so much better which is what we need!

The mass American population needs to get involved here and back these people up in their lawsuit. This must not go unchallenged and must be won at the Supreme Court level if needed. This will set a precedent. If this is not challenged and won, it will happen again to many others. Corporations are trying to take over and dictate your rights. I don't remember the last time I ate anything natural, everything comes in boxes with tons of preservatives and unknown chemicals.
Even our fruits and vegetables are now being controlled by a large corporation who is taking over the agriculture industry by getting patents for real food.

This is a severe case of the US government going from defending the people of the States to becoming a harsh oppressor bullying and using scare tactics to silence any thinking for oneself and forcing us to eat food that is so chemically modified that it actually harms us rather than benefits us! Wouldn't it be nice to have a team of independent from any orgranization or agenda attorneys step up to the plate working pro bono or even work out a contingency agreement for the Stowers to defend them? We the people are an extension of their story because, someday, it could be our story. Where are those attorneys that really care about the rule of law and our civil liberties more than their pocketbooks. I'm not sure the ACLU can be trusted to work for the people anymore.
