I used to work for sam greco. He's definitely a great man. Sam said andy hug was the most hardest one to fight. They swear to be brothers anyway. I just wanna talk to him tomorrow as I'm watching this video :)

andy has too many combinations that connected compared to sam. sam i believe is more powerful than andy but he can not use it because of andy's speed. i agree with the judges. a good fight. thanks for sharing.

この時代のK1が好きだ。

まだ階級も無く、ありとあらゆる体格の選手がそれぞれの個性を出­し、しのぎを削っていた。

自分は特に「サム・グレコ」が好きだった。

もちろん「アンディ・フグ」も好きだ。

しかし「サム・グレコ」の分厚い、大きな上半身がとても迫力があ­り、好きだった。

彼の繰り出す怒涛のラッシュは、別の試合で「レイ・セフォー」と­打ち合った時も凄まじさを感じ、カッコよかった。

彼の無骨に突進していく姿に、強い憧れと尊敬の念を抱いた。

今でも、彼のファンだ。

現在、過去を問わず全てのファイター達が見せてくれた素晴らしい­戦いは、これからも自分の胸を熱くし続けるだろう。

Kick-boxing is so tough to judge, that's probably why I like full mma better. Both of these guys fought their hearts out, both were equally skilled imo, yet only one gets to go home with the win. Tough show.

@TheNowIsTheMoment I think that's becouse most of the times to enjoy mma you do not need to know the rules or the tecniques...while in K1, like in Kickboxing, Karate, Judo etc. you need to know the rules, the scoring system, and the techniques in advance to really enjoy it...

Take Lyoto Machida...he was considered a quite boring fighter in UFC, however his Shotokan Karate was unbelievable, and only people knowing Karate could really appreciate his techniques...

Wow, if the bell had gone 3 seconds later, that would have been a knockdown in favour of Greco.

Odd decision though. Greco took the first two rounds if you ask me, and the start of the third too, mostly because Hug was doing nothing or hitting nothing but Greco's defence.
