CPU on professional is just too damn unrealistically good. It reacts the moment you press the button to tackle. You just chase the damn ball for 90 minutes like a fucking dog. I wouldn't mind if this would be the case when you play against Barca but it is the same with the mid-to-low table teams. It makes me wanna eat my rumble pad throw a monitor through the window.

@guda4siempre You ever tried? It's just too frustrating. the weakest teams in the game are so fucking strong is unbelievable, goalkeeper is a god. Defenders have perfect positioning and always will read all your plays. Your 85 acceleration 88 speed player is outpaced by the slowest defenders magically. The attacked have their pace multiplied by 2 I guess. Did I mention the last 10 mins? You players become total fucking trash that can't pass and all the enemy team becomes gods.

Increasing difficulty in Fifa 12 = Your keeper gets noobier, their get godlier, They won't do any foul, If they do a red card type of foul, they get a yellow (mostly keeper, last defender gets red). Your striker are more likely to shoot at posts or straight in the keeper's hands. You cannot stop crosses anymore.

Its not really hard, its just that anything that can go wrong will go wrong. Keeper can't hold on to balls, defenders scoring own goals, decisions always against you. the AI is nothing special though. Beatable if there weren't situations that you can't do anything about.

I gotta say I think it's hard too :x hadn't played fifa since like 2005... last year i tried fifa 11 on demo and was just fine legendary was hard at first but then i got used to it, I bought fifa 12, played 20 games on legendary won... none, it's frustrating cause >.< whenever I managed to score a goal barca responded with 2 goals -.- and yeah the AI it's too powerfull... its like they knew all your moves lmao when you're about to tackle they just move away from you turn around and leave u bhind

Fifa12 isnt fun anymore its just too hard. and im not talking about the defending. its playing the cpu at pro that is sooo frustrating..they are unstoppable and just walk through the D. The sliding tackle in this game is a joke and forget about quick 1-2 passes and shooting on the turn.

Same here guys! I play professional and today i managed to score my first fucking goal after 20 or more games on that mode! The only way to beat the opponent on pro is to work your dribbling and skill moves, OTHERWISE YOUR SCREWED!

I swear the AI fucking CHEATS its so fucking stupid. AI NEVER misses a FUCKING tackle. I have no room to do ANYTHING. The only way to score goals is to have high pace strikers who can blow by the D sometimes. AIs do PERFECT fucking crosses and headers. Im pretty sure EA forgot to make the difficulty that comes after semi pro because the jump from semi pro to pro is FUCKING HUGE. I can fucking win 9-0 with my eyes closed on semi pro but cant fucking score a single goal playing my ass off on pro?

Yeah, it's so hard it's RIDICULOUS!!! The AI fucking waits till you make the tackle and then turns the other way? REALLY? How the fuck am I supposed to defend then? If you hold LT they will just go through the defender like nothing! Another thing, what's with the super sweety goals of the AI shooting the ball at incredible strength to pass to the teammate at the other side? Makes the goalkeeper unable to block the pass! Transfers need to be toned down, as they are rediculous at the moment, Agbonlahour to Norwich for 6million (WTF). Benzema and nani to tottenham £41mill (believable) but there's generally too many big transfers

I thought it was just me! Im nothing special at the game, play to enjoy and have fun with a bit of a challenge. Semi-pro, I can go away to Everton and beat them 0-4 and with a push win everygame 2 or 3-0. (childish)

But IMO Professional is just too hard, its like the A.I is perfect and makes minimal mistakes. I would be attacking and literally have no options as the defenders would track every single run. Then I would usually concede a goal in the 85-90th min (scripted momentum)

@JediMastaWyn Yep pretty sure the AI doesn't make mistakes on Professional. when you make a cut they are on you like a hawk and take the ball before you get another touch. The only way you can score on them is getting a lucky threw ball or cross

@papadoc711 Exactly! the difference between semi-pro & pro is way to big. In semi-pro I always win by far and in pro I'm lucky when I can win with 1-0 or get a draw! It's unbelievable, I like to play Fifa to relax and play some nice football, not to chase the freaking ball for 90 minutes :p
