@viper1966 yep , slush is horrible. Its fine when it lies but as soon as the rain falls on it , it turns to slush. When it freezes it can be EVEN worse tho because then you have to worry aboutt he slush AND ice.
@cyclepod1 Because the world doesn't stop just because we get a bit of snow. Other countries deal with this every winter and sure, they're better prepared. Like I said though, the world doesn't stop. The haulage industry is the backbone of the UK.

Funny isnt it, all the eco freakos hate land rovers, but as soon as we get snow they are the greatest thing since sliced bread to them!

What a nuisance. They should have been off the road in the snow... why don't they follow basic advice of the AA?
