I am deeply touched by the song. I am just bothered with the grammar: "why she have to go..." It should be "she has or she had".

Anyway, this is supposed to be a song by a girl struggling in school. "Mama she wrote me a letter...", is an awkward sentence too. That's why the song is so effective.. whether it be Geneva's version or Charice's :-)
