IMO this game is not as visually polished as the first two (especially the battle animations, which suck). Plus, its difficulty doesn't even come close to the difficulty in the first 2 games. We need more Deadbeards and Dullahans, not this.

I got this game and it is EPIC!!! The fighting is awesome better then the first and second... Everyone that is complaining about the games graphics are all wrong. Beside watching this game through a low quality video isn't doing this game justice... Trust me anyone planning on getting this game, IT IS AWESOME!!!!

Are you guys serious?! RPG's are RPG's They can Play everywhere . They could fuckin' make a RPG in the Pre-historian Age, with Caves with Dinosaurs, and it would be ok. I like the medievil-style-RPG's Others can stick with SF-RPG's or something else.I love every good-made game that reminds me of the SNES games. I friggin love games like Secret of Mana 1/2, Secret of Evermore, Lufia 1/2, Terranigma, Chrono Trigger, Tales of Phantasia. In my opinion they should go on making this kind of games.

Since we are having a sort of intellectual discussion, I want to continue my rant about RPG's and that includes pretty much all of them, Dragon Quest and the Final Fantasies. What does that say about us, that we have to sit down and play a game with forced Medieval themes to remind us today in the 21st century of what it was once like to be spiritual? To me it shows we are going pathetic.

As much as I can see where MarkScheppy is coming from...I dont agree-Im not caucasian,but will play this game for the simple fact the previous games were enjoyable as were the storyline..Also medieval times are used mostly in games I imagine as spiritual aspects were more a part of everyday life,(when compared to now) so is a time considered where everything of the sort was possible.Plus the "modern" rpg i felt (like FF8..ish) was interesting enough too.So lets not bash this until we play yea?

What is so great about the graphics?

We're in the 21st century and we've even had steam engines since the 18th century. So why in our time of advanced machines and industry and electronics and things are we still doing role playing games where the characters live and walk around in caves or in medievil cottages wood and straw huts and things. Seems like they could make the environments more current, at least up to the standards of the Victorian era. This walking around cave stuff is old school.

This game looks like more evidence of the death of white culture. Who buys these games but morally and spiritually depressed white kids? It isn't blacks or other ethnicities who buy these games. They are actually doing more things like reading and studying or even playing sports outside.This Golden Sun looks hokey and crap compared to the ones for the game boy advance. So I think that white people culture is just about deceased Lets make a game put a title on it and loser white kids will buy it

As much as I have been waiting for ANY news on a third Golden Sun 3 since I beat 2 for the first time many years ago, for some reason I don't like parts of this game. One reason is the kiddish looking characters during battle.
