  • Wow, old ATL! I miss walking out to the RJ's

  • ASSSOOOOOOOMMMMMMEEEEEEEE VIDEO Flightattendant for Delta Mainline Side note I love ATL airport I am from Augusta Ga

  • @MrGarland23 My dad's an A320/319 captain

  • ASSSOOOOOOOMMMMMMEEEEEEEE VIDEO Flightattendant for Delta Mainline

  • Hard to believe that, what, about 40% of all flying done in the United States is done by third-party regional airlines that aren't even affiliated with the majors.

I'm actually kind of relieved that my eyesight is just under TC regulations for the CPL/ATR licensing requirements. I'd hate to be stuck flying a CRJ or Dash for 10-12 years. I'll stick to my King Air.

  • The guy who made this video and many more like it is a regional airline pilot called Yeasher.

  • I remember watching this a few years ago....glad to see its back. As a regional FO for several years now...yeah that pretty well sums it up.

  • Ah man, watching this video makes me thank my lucky stars for not going into this job. I even briefly attended flight school and left before I spent too much money. All I can say is thank god I quit..... phew

  • so you were heading to atlanta huh

  • Gonna be me in a few months, looking forward to it and dreading it at the same time.

  • is it worth it?

  • One way to kinda avoid this (at least the "underpaid" part) is to do a boots-on-the-ground hunting for a Lear 35 job somewhere close to home. Air-ambulance etc. They might fly you a lot during one day, but at least, if they're a good company, they'll pay you decent money your first year and give you a fair amount of time off.

  • @BadgemanDFW I work for an air ambulance operator and the pay is good (70-90K) but the requirements are 2500TT, 1000ME and 200 turbine.

  • @anguissette if you dont mind my asking, what air ambulance outfit pays that well? ive never heard of their pay being anywhere close to that lol

  • @aobt1407 I'm not going to say which one I work for, but most pay close to that. Eagle Med starts at 70k on the King Air, Omniflight close to 60 for the pilatus, captains on the hawker at AirMed make more than 100k. Even the mom and pop places flying piston equipment like 421/402s make close to 50.

  • Working as a regional airline pilot was the worse days of my life. The time away from my family I will never get back....Oh yeah I made less than $20,000/year and had to rent a 2 bedroom apartment in California with 8 other guys just to have a place to sleep. I was so broke and stressed out about how to pay for my phone bill and kids lunch that I had to quit! Quitting was the best thing I ever did. I am so much happier now and I have a great quality of life since leaving that profession.

  • Would love the rest to come back!!!!

  • Its back!!! Thank you for uploading it. Ill be in the game doing that soon, fingers crossed!

  • great video, thanks for telling the truth. 1800/month, living the dream, baby!!

  • Yep, I know how you feel my friend. Guess the FAA and the D.O.T. are best buddies it's no different for us truck drivers. I guess you'd have to call me crazy or in love with flying for coming off the road and trading one for the other long hours, low pay and getting treated like crap. However flying is something i love and will always love. Gonna be Starting Spartan College next year. wheels up....

  • Awesome vid.....all of you guys and gals who fly deserve HUGE raises in my books...

  • Great video, I'm flight instructing right now, and was happy to find this video. Showed me some of the "in the life of...." what I might have in a few months. I'm excited but also a bit worried about this next step in my career.

  • @JSF747 "Kyria" (amen to that)

  • dude, awesome video! well done. hopefully i'll be flying RJ's or corporate in a few years. in the process of my PPL then on to finish with my commercial instrument

  • You seem like someone whom went from flying warriors to a CRJ. Do I paint an accurate picture?

  • YES THIS VID IS BACK!!! I LOVE IT, My life in 4 or so years!!

  • @airlinephl2 good luck with that, been there done that and they were too cheap to even get me a t-shirt.

  • @anguissette I know, I won't be making enough to buy a dollar fries at McDonalds lol I guess that what I get for loving to fly.

  • @airlinephl2 if you want a good regional airline you have to leave the states they fuck their pilots over, i worked for air georgian in canada and made almost 40G a year

  • There was a really cool Regional Airline Pilot video, he recorded himself from home to airport and going there with his BMW car I think with a nice music. Don't know where it went. ;(

  • I like that you use a XBOX controller to make a message.

  • Where did you find this? The original poster took this video down 2 years ago. I wonder if his others are back up also. They were amazing.

  • @pntbllr233 Yeah. I remember those. They were from "Yeahser" right?

  • @VenomGameplay Yeah. That guy had some amazing videos.

  • whats the song name its amazing !!!

  • @MrGoktugerol Use Me by Bill Withers, a legend. This song was made in 1971.

  • I'm being used too,but enough is enough going overseas !!
