I have this camera and in movie mode you can hear over the video the focusing motor, makes a hell of a noise. The photos are OK for a novice camera but don't buy it for doing videos.
BasTea, the lens is Pentax FA-50mm f/1.4 and the 18-55mm kit lens. Donmation the music is "Neptune - The Mystic" from Holst's "The Planets."
I filmed this the same day I got it and what I expected to lock the exposure didn't work, until found the trick. I'm glad it has at least that limited feature :)
I think this camera can capture some beautiful moments in video, but wish it had more control in that department.
I´m getting one this wednesday — cant wait... I wasnt really looking for an slr with video capabilities and, in fact, ordered mine before even watching a video sample. I´m impressed.
Mine will be the K-x white. It would fit beautifully in that environment ;)

@Macinabit That's why you focus in manual mode. The motor noise happens to all DSLR when focusing in auto mode.

The quality of video from this camera is awesome for a DSLR. You would need a pretty high spec dedicated camcorder to better it.
I've just ordered one without thinking of the video capability. Having seen the quality I feel I'm getting a real bonus. Thanks!
