    It was heavy metal!

And now - welcome for my "Misty Gates"band alive stuff, everybody!

    Olexandr

    L'viv city

    Ukraine

  • Saw these guys 4-5 times in Vancouver Canada when they were still primaily a cover band, they did Zeppelin live better than Jimi and boys - at least tighter and closer to the album.version.

  • Pure loveable 80s CHEESE! Good album though!

  • Saw these guys again last summer and OMG they were so fricken awesome. Now this is Music!!!

  • Everyone is thinking of George Christon, wich is a good thing. But how about Charles McNary ?

  • Monopoly dude rockin' out 4:36

  • Love the band, great song, but the video is cheesy as fuck. Only in the 80s could they get away with that.

  • The 9 who dont like this song are just PUSSY WUSSY FAGZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!

This song is what ROCK and ROLL is all about. Should be in the rock and roll hall of fame instead of half the shit that's in there!!!!!!!!

  • kick axe was canadian? wow! i loved this video and song!

  • Definitely one of THE best songs in 1984. And still kicks major ass in 2011.

The 8 idiots that didn't like it prolly would'a listened to Boy George in 1984 anyway so like their opinion matters :-P

  • I saw them with Judas Priest on City Island in Harrisburg, Pa. and was amazed!

Went out the very next day and bought the cassette.

  • I saw these guys in Stardust in the early 80's !!

  • Hey dudes from Kick Axe, drag back George Criston kicking and screaming if you have to. I want to see at least one reunion show with him as ther singer!

  • Sebastian Bach from Skid Row copied his style/moves from the singer (George Criston) and Black Sabbath back in the 80's when they were looking for a new singer were interested in this guy too, just when Kick Axe was recording the Vices album.

  • AH My Home Town Heroes!

    Pounder949

  • didn't these guys write most of King Kobra's 1st album?

  • I can't believe the trailer park boys never ever mentioned these guys in their show :S

  • haha great video

  • It's so cheesy it's great!

  • The video does not do the song or band justice. Weak video, Kick Ass song and band. But most videos from the 80's were weak, but the music is greatest!

  • @mooey22 I find the video more fun and definitely more replayable than most of the modern Vids these days.

  • Solid kick ass album!!! This is my favorite song on Vices but they are all keepers.

    Cool post!

  • Solid kick ass album!!! This is my favorite song on Vices but they are all keepers.

    Cool post!

  • Of course they rock, they're from Regina, SK. Everyone in regina is required to shred on the guitar, it's like a rule n stuff, ha ha. Great bands like Dirtbred, Into Eternity, and TRIPHOLE are from regina ...

Don't forget Dan Siljer and Jack Semple, yup, we Rock.

  • @69HELLBOY69 Ya awell i come from there and its pretty sleepy

  • Kick Axe was the first concert I ever saw in my life. It was about 1984-1985 and I was 10-11 years old. They played the Orpheum Theatre in Estevan. It was the coolest thing I had ever seen at the time. This brings me back! Thanks for posting.

  • Kick Axe was the first concert I ever saw in my life. I was about 10-11 years old. It was about 1984-85 at the Orpheum Theatre in Estavan, SK .....I though it was the coolest thing I ever saw!!! This brings back good memories!

  • I wish I had my Kick Axe t shirt from 1984.

  • kick axe.....i remember u in the great punk vs metal wars of the 80s punk sucks metals dumb punks for fags metal is for nerds fags nerds suck dick fag dick...hhahahaha

  • Looks like we found someone who is an expert on dick sucking.

  • both parties.

  • eto NOSTALGY!!!!!

  • amazing vocals!!! amazing guitar!!! all around great music!!! he's got some fuckin blazin pipes!!! he can fuck the shit outta them ear pussies and destroy that g spot. all this new music blows dogs for qaurters

  • While LA. was a hotbed for heavy metal bands....Canada also had numerous metal bands that put a serious dent in the heavy metal scene. Kick Axe was one of them!

  • ROFL at the 5:00 mark!

  • they are also playing regina calgary end of January 2010

  • these guys were huge in wpg...they used to do 3 sets a night plus encore..with a mix of metal covers and the first album. Any live video?

  • Fuckin awesum vid, used to love seeing these guys at the BLACK NIGHT in Winnipeg!

  • KICK AXE IN WINNIPEG END OF MONTH

  • awe them at the CNE in Toronto in the 80's...

  • seen em at the centinial building, beban park, NANAIMO,B.C.,CANADA...vices tour

  • I remember that show... somehow somebody was needed to get them in the building so I met them at the door and saw the show from side-stage, that was just after they played in victoria with whitesnake and quiet riot... awesome rock act and super nice guys

  • They're gonna do some bar dates in January but the thing that sucks is that they have some new singer I never heard of. Wish George Criston would of reunited with them. See you guys in the Peg in January.

  • Perfect song for 7A, Dr. Roberta Bondar Public School, Ajax, Ontario.

  • GREAT GUITAR PLAYING!!!

  • It was in the mid-80's when these guys came to my home and ask for some laundry soap and used my kitchen to cook their meal before going out on stage for their show. Great guys and they earned my respect since then!!!

  • These guys played my school (bby hts jr high) and i never left them. Great live band!!

  • Sebastian Bach from Skid Row studied this guy's on stage presence and moves and imitated him.

  • Well spotted, I also see Bas been influenced by George Criston impressive vocals.

I like Skid Row but the Vices CD blew me away when I first heard it in a way the Skids never have.

At any rate Canada have many top artists that rival and in certain cases beat down their USA counterparts.

  • Great show at Minnedosa I hope to see them tour more

  • great song, but this video is as cheesy as it can be.

  • One more of the bests songs of Hair metal 80's ... I'm not talking a lie.

  • Epic!

  • I wanna kick axe t-shirt!

  • yo scoochie, FYI...I'm having a custom painted KickAxe shirt done up in preparation for they're reunion concert in Mainitoba during the Aug longweekend

  • post it up in a clip when ur done,. I'd like to see it.

  • Oh by the way, screw you UltMitSinner78. There's just as many guys with bad taste in music as "chicks". Obviously you're still stuck in the 80's. Kick Axe rocked and my favorite band is Judas Priest. Please keep Celine Dion as far away as you can. Can't stand that weepy crap.

  • 1st band I ever saw live! Triple bill with Whitesnake & Quiet Riot. Too funny! Great song, great album, definitely cheesy 80's metal video. Those were the good old days!

  • Saw this tour with Whitesnake

  • Love this song it just has so much energy I think it stood the test of time. Vices was a great cd too bad Kick Axes other cds were never as strong.

  • I love these guys. I always have, from day one. One thing people can not deny is the strong bass lines. I mean sure they wear cheesy 80's clothes but everyone did. The fact is, Kick Axe was a great band. I still love rocking out to them. "Vices" is one of the most underrated albums of the 80's. Long live KICK AXE!!

  • Happy 25th anniversary of your debut album guys.Maybe see you in the summer at the festival in Minnedosa.

  • great song

You say pop, rap, and hip hop.

I say Yar Har Har, they all swab my deck! HAR HAR HAR

  • Fuckin' Rad, Dude!!

  • OMG, this takes me back to grade 9...LOL

    good tune

  • Lol, I'm in grade 9 right now

  • LOL, well it's nice to see the music still hits the same age, and I hope in the same way..rock on :-)

  • the rickster can go fuck himself

  • I had album VICES of Kick Axe(In Ukraine - ex-USSR - R.I.P.).Pay 25 soviet roubls - in 1987 it was a lot of money...

    Nice album!!!

  • Seen them In Grason Sask BARN 22

  • did'nt the singer play in a band called tripper before kick axe?

  • WOW I haven't seen this in years. I remember the video being played on Night Flight on the USA Network in the states when I was a kid. I ran out and bought the album the next day. Cheers and "FIRE IT UP!!!"

  • Brilliant!

  • joder k lista mas guapa, este vililo también lo tengo VICES.

  • Saw these guys with helix, quiet riot and the scorpions here in Toronto in '84. Killer show.

  • Wow, that would have been a killer show!!

  • I think the best recording of Kick Axe was played back on the radio back in the late 80's early 90's on the King Biscuit Flower Hour. I can't remember what concert it was but it sure was good.

  • What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits! Got 3000 vinyl albums from the eighties but they sound like CRAP when I transfer them to my computer via phonograph and cable :(

Goodbye 1999, Kick Axe, Coney Hatch, Kix, Wabbit and 2996 others. I'm trying to do the same with my cassettes right now, and it is not sounding very good :'(

Goodbye Loudness, Accept, Pat Travers and 1,897 others.

  • You can make them better if you have a good turntable and then remaster them in software. Garage Band via a MAC or Audacity with Windows. I am sure there are even better ones but you will have to pay$

  • I saw Kick Axe in Kitchener in 1986. They were opening for Helix. Great band.

  • What song is playing on the headphones?

  • Vices

  • You mean the track "Vices"?

  • Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is.

  • This tune reminds me of the scene in "Boogie Nights" when Dirk Diggler and Reed Rothchild are in the recording studio.

  • best fucking video ever!

  • These guys played in my cousins basement in the eighties

  • I love this band. Cheesy tongue and cheek video, but great music.

  • wicked funny! lol, why that's kick axe!

  • then why look for it idiot

  • I think my teacher played with these guys...anyone from Winnipeg growin' up in the 80's remember a local band called "Fury"?

  • Don't remember Fury, but I sure do remember Labyrinth, Nuthin' Pritty, and Chocolate Bunnie From Hell!

  • Labyrinth and Kickaxe or in Minnedosa right now!! I'm gonna miss Labyrinth. :(

  • Seen these guys live at barn 22 (no cows here) with fist, killer dwarfs, harlequin.Awesome show. These good old Saskatchewan boys rock

  • Kick Axe really ROCKS!!! Greets from Germany!

  • this proves janitors can rock!

  • Canadian rock kicks ass. Nuff said.

  • @gtrefghuk especially when there from your home town. there from mine.

  • @queensbiggestfan345 This band is from a lil farm town in Saskatchewan called Regina

  • @erv66 i know where there from i live in Regina and its not a farm town its a city plus i just saw them live on Friday and unrelated but my dads friends with the bassist victor langen's little brother peter langen.

  • what song is that in the beggining that the janitor is listening 2?

  • its the song "vices" from the so called album...

  • Vices, from the eponimous album.

  • this was an answer for the one who asked what song was playing at the beginning...

  • the guy with the axe guitar looks like one of the characters from GH3.

  • I actually met the guy that made that guitar. Fury Guitars out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Great guy...fantastic guitars. Never judge a book by it's cheesy 80's cover. That guitar was of superb quality. I saw a blank of its body in his shop in 92. You couldn't ask for better craftsmanship.

  • Oh....and as for chocolatalmondz...I actually work with the former crazy singer. You're right. A little nutz but a good egg.

  • You mean George Criston (former singer)? So how come he didn't join the reunion tour? I would have gone to see them in Winnipeg but I heard he wasn't in the lineup. Wouldn't be the same without him, according to how I remember seeing them.

  • Songs on the Transformers Album is better, and the name 'Spectre General' its very camp!

  • 'the transformers' IS camp.

  • FIRE IT UP!!!11

  • Uhm i wasnt born in the 80's i am only 15 you retard.

  • Well,that explains everything,little puke.Go back to mommy's teet!

  • Hahaha, My dad now owns a limo company called Paramount Limousine. and he has a drum set downstairs haha. Omg, i know the guy that sings now is SOO boring, he owns like horses and stuff :| and the old singer was CRAZZY . lol yeah so any more questions? ill answer =]

  • ya,fukin' loser, nice fukin' screen name. When are you going to move out of your Mom's basement, and stop collecting allowance? Some of us grew up since the 80's,obviously you haven't.Now go wash your DAD'S cars, little puke

  • You knew the old singer George Criston? So what is he doing now? So is your dad thinking on going on another tour? I missed the last reunion a couple of years or so ago. If they do get him to get George back in the lineup.

  • Take THAT, school!

  • I remember one night coming home from a really bad day at work I was watching Metal Mania and this song came on and this song lifted my spirits up higher.

  • For all the negative posters, if you ever saw these guys in the bar back in the day you would have rocked your drunken ass off! Fist used to kick ass in the bar too around that time... Now they got all that dj dance techno fucken shit and you can't even smoke... I'll take the 80's

  • I can't believe this is on YT. My one and only Rock Video. I'm left front composer...supposedly Bach...OK, Bach before the famous Viennese Pizza. Thanks for putting this on here. These guys were very cool and what a blast it was. Thank, Karl

  • WHOA! you're the guy pretending to be bach in this video?!

  • this band fucking rocks!

  • Wheres heavy metal shuffle?!!!

  • fucking rght thnks man {:O)

let know please if ya get the others (song)s please please please

  • My dad is the drummer =]

  • cool whats your dad doing now I use to listen to these guys all the time ..hope he's still playin ....does he still have the Ayottes withthe inverted bass drum ????

  • If he is tell him thanks for some GREAT music!!! As a kid I had bought this becouse of the name of the band, many years later I still followed them. Welcome to the club was and still is an awesome album, vices is great, but I didn't like when they changed singers, but that's the biz. Rock on!!!!

  • chocolatealmondz, I see your dad and the boys playing in Minnedosa Aug. 1. So who's singing this time, Gary Langen or the earlier guy George Criston?

  • Kick Axe? Hmm. Someone help me out here. I'm German, but I think I do remember hearing them many moons ago. Did they sing the song, "Welcome to the Club", or something like that? If so, I like that song. Could you upload it? :)

  • wow brings back memories but so corny and cheesy lol

  • the bass is bigger then the bass player hah

  • Cool song. I had bought this album back in 85 after seeing this video. Heavy Metal Shuffle was a cool tune also. I agree with madsin69. It was a great time for rock in the 80s.

  • this video is like Britny Fox - Girlschool :D

  • please do wipe, enjoy!!!!!!!

  • Chicks have never had good taste in music anyway. Go back to your Britney Spears and Celion Dion you wuss.

  • hahah as macho as that sounds it is actually roughly 97% true, in Europe it might differ a tad but as for the Americas, I gotta say... women are so predictable, the ones that do listen to Heavy Metal do so for all the wrong reason, and all mostly outgrow it. It is a damn shame.

  • Have to agree with you on that one. For women it's more what the music "looks" like. They buy the cd because the singer is cute and wears nice clothe. They couldn't care less what the music sounds like.

  • You're soo freakin' wrong!!! Don't judge all women because of one or two Barbie dolls :P

  • @UltMitSinner78 Hey I'm a chick and I have great taste in music! otherwise I wouldn't be here!

  • @UltMitSinner78 Hey man, I hope your kidding. I'm a women, and I dig this. Spears & Dion? no comprendi brother. :D

  • @UltMitSinner78 I'm a chick and I have AWESOME taste in music \\m//

  • I still see George barefoot like his days in tripper

  • Like a Sebastian Bach

  • LONG before Sebastian Bach

  • These guys had some real potential...I really liked this band...I couldn't belive someone posted this...very cool!

  • This band rocked! They were cool! I remember getting the record when I was a teenager.

Also, I wasn't stupid as some of those who are posting now.

It was about rocking and having a good time.

    Peace, love and unity

  • irishpatrick12 is a dumb fucking idiot go back to the GTV gay telvision

  • Thanx 4 posting!! This came out when I was 19-20.(everything's a blur from back then).

  • stop and think about that comment for a second there brainiac , ever wonder what the women of iraq might want , every story has 2 sides

  • no wonder why the taliban hates us...it is because you guys post dumb negative things...normal for 13 year olds but soon you need to grow up...america asked if Iraq wanted america to enforce democracy and iraq says no....america asks why...iraq says because we do not want our women acting like yours....

  • even mightywibble...quite possibly the most teenage california acting american alive...god bless ..now be stupid

  • i take that as a complement..cheers

  • I have been looking at all of the replies here and I have known two things.....you people are americans by the way you act, and you are possibly 13 years old or less...there is no reason to be stupid
