@MetaKnightPwns1 no they won't. it does the same thing as the wii, but uses COMPLETELY different hardware. they way it even connects to the system is different. the wii uses bluetooth controllers (a variant of bluetooth.) and the move is using 3d space that will be captured by the eye toy.

Before everyone slates Sony they should realise that the only thing sony are copying is the fact it is a *motion controller*... saying sony have stolen this idea is as ridiculous As it would be saying Apple have stolen the idea of making a PC.
Next we Should look at the technology used... Wii used accelerometer and optical sensor technology. Sony are using the BIG GLOWY THING as a focus to track movement using the Playstation camera to a Microscopic level of accuracy.

I'm a huge advocate of the use of open source software and am what you call a believer and follower of the free software "movement". So my standing on using someone Else's design and improving on it is obvious. With this being said I do believe PS3 did get the idea of the control scheme from Nintendo. Did they copy them though? Of course not, all large companies have patents on there product there for PS3 move although similar to Nintendo's control set up, Is different.

@MetaKnightPwns1 no they won't. it does the same thing as the wii, but uses COMPLETELY different hardware. they way it even connects to the system is different. the wii uses bluetooth controllers (a variant of bluetooth.) and the move is using 3d space that will be captured by the eye toy.

Before everyone slates Sony they should realise that the only thing sony are copying is the fact it is a *motion controller*... saying sony have stolen this idea is as ridiculous As it would be saying Apple have stolen the idea of making a PC.
Next we Should look at the technology used... Wii used accelerometer and optical sensor technology. Sony are using the BIG GLOWY THING as a focus to track movement using the Playstation camera to a Microscopic level of accuracy.

I'm a huge advocate of the use of open source software and am what you call a believer and follower of the free software "movement". So my standing on using someone Else's design and improving on it is obvious. With this being said I do believe PS3 did get the idea of the control scheme from Nintendo. Did they copy them though? Of course not, all large companies have patents on there product there for PS3 move although similar to Nintendo's control set up, Is different.

i just wanna get something out there about both 360 and PS3 and people shitting on the wii...
360 has to make a new system to accommodate with this new "motion" system while ps3 just needs an update.
maybe over priced but they have yet to reach full potential of the ps3.
360 has tendancy to be hacked into many bugs and need i say it takes months to fix it or even be recalled.
with the ps3 bug that came about recently it took only 12 hours to be fixed and it even fixed itself.

OMG I so not want to think of this product as a Wii COPY... but they also said it was a 'Revolution', just as the Wii was used to be code-named before launched!!! Sony is running scared after what Microsoft and Nintendo launch!!

So Im a fanboy of whom, the 360? No, I dont even own one. Heck, I dont even own a single console out there. But I follow the videogame industry, and even a retard can see what is happening here... and I dont know why you cant.
The only bad thing I'd say for the Wii is the name, for the 360, its way of punishing those with hacked consoles (Millions of banned consoles)... but for the PS3? LOL... Overpriced, undermanned, lack of originality. Cheers.

i will agree to the overpriced but definitely no lack of originality. because of blu ray hd dvd went out of business.
this playstation move (retarded name) has been in production since 2005 so basically everyone had the same great idea untill wii lauched theirs. this launch made people put out lots of shit ie. SIXAXIS and that eyetoy knockoff "your in the movies" or something for the 360
playstation is no stranger when it comes to motion sensoring. lets just hope it doesnt crash and burn

ps3 150 times less likely to break than 360. online is free for ps3. after 4 years 360 costs the same as ps3. more powerfull and advanced gpu and cpu, faster/easier UI (xmb). no background humming. operates without tray for disks. more usb ports than 360. free backgrounds. psn ability to download games from many different regions including japan. blu-ray. ps3 exclusive games have better graphics/power than xbox exlclusives.

PS3 has nothing special about them man, they're doing the worst on the sales charts, Xbox owns the whole graphics thing, and the hardcore gamers as well as online. Wii owns the whole motion idea. that is with Wii Motion plus and all, and the new Camera that came from Ubisoft with Racquet Sports, which should be in more games to follow. PS3 barely has any good games, that aren't from Xbox360, except for FF, which got boring after #3, and God Of War, is okay... but not really that good of a game

when you talk about sales charts, you do understand that the xbox had a whole year of sales before the ps3 was even released. playstation move makes wii look like a fail even its motion plus scam. ps3 exclusives have better graphics than xbox exclusives (*ahem* GOW3). saying ps3 has barely any good games... thats not what many other people think. even your xbox fanboys are loving the GOW3 atm. can you still not see why the ps3 is better from an outsiders point of view?

Um... I'm actually a Nintendo Fanboy, GOW3, is okay... I guess, only a 9.3, and its almost always the same setting on Mount Olympus, as long as the graphics are over 128 bit, I don't care whatsoever, The Nintendo Wii's Wii Motion Plus measures 360 degrees of angles, just the same as PS3's does, so no difference there, PS3 failed at hardcore games, so they came to casual gamers, even though casual gamers are already owned by the wii... face it man, PS3 made a bad move

GOW3 got a 10 from machinima review but that doesnt matter as its just an opinion... please re read all those facts and data i gave you bout ps3 which xbox doesnt have. ps3 move copied wii and natal copied playstation 2 eye toy if thats what your point is.... i dont care if ps3 made a bad move ive still proven that its the best console out there with my previous comments.

@maxgunn555 well, It got a 9.3 from IGN, but you're right, Game ratings don't matter whatsoever, Xbox sucks dick, the ONLY reason they're doing good is because of their FPS shooters, which personally I think are fails, well, all FPS's are fails, but whatever, besides, "the best system" is all a matter of prospective, thats what is kind of starting the Console War, even though SONY and Nintendo gaming fans hate Microsoft more, than they hate each other, unless you actually give a crap like most

i agree that you cant compare wii and ps3 coz they're in different markets and i never said ps3 was better than wii (maybe not anymore now that playstation move is introduced...) but you can compare xbox and ps3 coz they're in the same specific market (traditional gaming console). i never 'said shit' about other consoles i just showed you all the features of a ps3 which xbox 360 doesnt have... wtf is wrong or bad about that?!

Wtf, how the hell is the 360 flawed? Don't try that fucking RRoD comeback. The Xbox has superior graphics that HAVE BEEN PROVED and a much better online service. Don't try the "its free" one either. The PS3 is an unoriginal piece of crap. The Xbox came out first, with its tried and true concept. Wii had a good idea, but they screwed up, so Microsoft decided to go on with Natal. BUT SONY?! They went and COPIED THE FUCKED UP DESIGN? Oh that was smart thinking wasn't it.

basically no console is completely original, they all take things from the others, yes the online on 360 is better, but dont say the ps3 isnt original,it was in the works for a long time
