@movania89 Quality? Yes in ISO handling, but the 60D has an 18mp CMOS censor. The ISO range? 4fps vs. 5.3.. Pentamirror vs. Pentaprism. Also I presume that you may have issues using a tripod and making use of the vari-angle screen.. And entry level versus mid-range camera? A D5100 would've been a better comparison. Plus it depends on what lenses you use too. What's the point of having one with a crappy Tamron 18-270?
@theruggednorth It's because of the lighting situation perhaps.. On manual, set it to high speed continuous, with suitable exposure. A lot of the time it's the lighting.
@mogulkey You set it in the drive display - it's default is usually 'one shot' but you can change it from that to 'high speed shooting', along with the timer and what not. Shoot only with CR2 raw files and not the jpeg if you're doing burst... I stumbled upon this and realised you can shoot at 5.3 FPS for at least 30 shots before it slows down

you should clarify whether it is high speed or continuous. There is a big difference.

When i set the continuous shooting mode it only snaps maybe a frame per second. How do I get it to do the max, 5.3, frames/second?
