Rafi sung many songs as beautiful as this one, but it is not hard to see why this is the favourite of so many; S&J captured a soulful unpretentious romanticism that simply cannot be surpassed. Sarla is correct; I had never noticed just how much Mukherjee paid homage to Shammiji in this song; it is superbly done. This is undoubtedly Asha at her most divine. It is simply marvellous by all and sundry. My friend, your effort is second to none, as per usual. Thank you. :-)
