One thing I liked about this film. It makes you go "OMG NO! AHH!" and cringe and all those similar reactions that directors usually try and get by going the Saw route or even Human Centipede, of just visually horrific things, where as Splice takes in a sort of ethical path that just the idea of it makes you think "that is wrong on so many levels." However part of you is also thinking "someone would probably do that to be honest" which is possibly an even scarier thought.
