Hm? It was never stated that Sage Mode gives the user 'unlimited chakra', if you are referring to the natural energy that the sage must gather to get into Sage Mode, then you are wrong, the reason why the user can only use it for a fixed amount of time is because you can't draw in senjutsu chakra while you run around, though it can be bypassed and you can stay in Sage Mode for as long as you like via Amphibian Jutsu.

Lord Fukusaku said so in one episode that when he enters sage mode the user never gets tired which makes it better than the normal chakra. Also, Sage Mode has different types of entering depending on the ninja. Take Jiraya for example, he enters sage mode by his hands joined but he can run around everywhere. But Naruto also has a different way of entering Sage Mode.

Actually, the special kind of chakra you get to enter Sage Mode isn't unlimited, the way you enter Sage Mode is collecting senjutsu chakra, though to get the chakra you must maintain perfectly still, once you started moving around the chakra is lost 'cause you aren't one with nature anymore. A more situable example is how Naruto is only limited to two Rasenshurikens 'cause using it takes out 50% of his senjutsu chakra. If he had unlimited he could use it more times.

Naruto was unable to do this so he uses Shadow Clones to stay perfectly still.

I cannot comprehend that, though I've seen it in the series as well...would it be that difficult for a hockage, sannin, heck, even a jounin, to do 2 clones and assign each manipulation to them? Jiraya and kakashi already have the shape manipulation down, so 1 clone would be needed for them. Also, from seeing them using rasengan it would be safe to assume it consumes far less than their half chackra, so they could still do it with 50%(by using the clone)
