he did not buy off a under cover cop. the under cover cop was being a friend to him , and asked him a favor is he can find him coke , so he did him a favor and bought coke for him, who was supposvily a friend, the under cover cop became his friend to use him to buy coke for him. it was a set up, ... its like if im your friend and ask you if u can find me some weed to smoke , then i go snitch you. thats what happend to him.

Yes. Pokerworld2009 is correct. Mike threw a party were his doctor brought a friend with him - who was a undercover cop. Mike talked about drugs with the cop but never saw him use. Matusow had just got off drugs when the cop called him asked him to buy him two ounces of coke. Mike said now but the cop begged him. Then Matusow's doctor called and begged so he finally did it. Mike's doctor had got in trouble and set up Mike with the undercover cop. Mike was off drugs when he got caught!

I don't know about you-- Pokerworld2009 but I'm tired of everyone calling him a "tweaker". He was brave enough to come out and talk about his problem. It's in the past and he overcame it and doesn't mind sharing it. It's real life and it happens. Stop bagging him for having the nuts to step up and admit his problems.

Read his book "Check-Raising The Devil", it's a great read. I'm sure Pokerworld2009 would agree it's a great book.

of course weight-loss bets have to be made with a certain goal ie to lose 60lbs but at the same time getting fit is best done i think with not a specific numerical goal in mind in terms of weight, but rather just a healthy change in lifestyle. regardless of how healthy someone is, everyone is different and their weight is inherently different. that is to say, mike's healthy weight may be less than 60 lbs lighter than his previous self. just eat healthy and exercise well.
