Also while I'm on my rant. Other Voices has turned into some serious joke run by the IMRO's and First Contact Music's of this country. Absolute bullshit, all acts on last series were either foreign or already established Irish acts. Was the original concept of the program not to shed light on new Irish talent? Its all about who you know, what you know and how much stage/camera time the brown envelope can buy you these days.

Mick, in a way, reminds me of Randy Newman back in the 60's and 70's. There are so many things about this guy to like. He seems so modest, and his music just flows so naturally. The violin is a nice touch and it seems like he is using the same person in most of the videos I have seen. I've never been to Ireland before, maybe it's time. ... and can get the wonderful jameson's whiskey, too.

I learned it today by ear, its in the key of g, so the verse goes (G) I lay (D) in your arms (G) (G) (D/F#)In the (Em) room where (C) you had (D) borne the (G) scars. The verses go like that....

Chorus: And the (G) moon was (D/F#) in your (C) hair,

And it (G) all was (D/F#) so (C) unfair, or was it (G) dear (D/F#) (C). So thats the jist of it, I find that if you're playing it on guitar it sounds better if you dont strum or pick the high E string. Hope its helpful, works well for me anyway.
