Yes, Keith was human just like the rest of us and made mistakes just like we all do everyday. Just because he was a great music singer doesnt mean that she had to air HIS dirty laundry to the world! He was human, like we all are. And he made mistakes, just as we all do. But do not make him out to be this "great" guy when he WAS an alcoholic, and he DID do things that were BAD. Keith Whitley was a normal human being just as all of us are.....the fact that these so called people who cared about him went on national TV and talked smack about him is nothing less than disturbing, we all have problems. Lorrie Morgan is the last person Keith should have been with....without trash talking her...let's just say Keith would still "probably" be here if he had an honest woman.
I don't agree. Joe Galante was (and still is) an advocate for Keith. Joe was telling him that ONLY to get him to STOP drinking, not to make him start. Joe explains this in the video. If Joe didn't like Keith, why would he rename the meeting room at the record company The Keith Whitley Room?
if you look at her eyes, she is making a point of dead eye contact with the interviewer, then just before the mention of cocain she looks up and to our left, that is visual creativity, then just before she says, there was no body there to save him, she looks to our right, which is the sound remembering side, makes me wonder if she wasnt thinking about something he said before she left, or if he didnt call her when he was drunk before he died.

But all this came from the book, that he was hanging around sex shops, and that Lorrie found him once passed out & not breathing, and when the paramedics revived him he got mean and had to spend a night in jail. And that he flipped his Jeep out on I-75 north going at least 90mph heading for a liason in Lexington. And he'd drink everyone's cologne on the bus. The story Dateline NBC put out after the book came out, I can't stand to watch.
@MAMsMom97 I also didn't like that she had to constantly hint at their great sex-life. Who cares if Keith was good in bed or not, Lorrie? I think if artist's wives and husbands write books on their spouses, there should be a warning on the cover...
