Once a big name gives his "cool opinion", others feel compelled to give an opinion in the same lines. Sure it might have been more of a generic shooter, but by no means really terrible.

Am I the only one that didnt think Duke Nukem Forever was a bad game?
Sure it might have been more of a generic shooter, but by no means really terrible.
Though on the other hand, it looks like it was only a couple years in the making rather than 12. It could've had better quality for the time that was spent with it. At least it was kicked out the door so a better Duke Nukem could be made.

i loved duke nukem. i just didnt listen to the hype but i had so much fucking fun. come on man its not mass effect its fucking duke nukem. this is just proof that the gaming industry has changed. in 1996 if this game wouldve came oout it would have 10 easy. everybody has call of duty standard now. just put it down and have some fun. Always Bet on Duke.

Reason why it's not called Wii 2? In Japanese 2 translates to "Ne" so all Japanese people would be walking around calling it a "Nintendo Weenie" Thumbs up so people can see.

Max, if you're a Duke fan - play DNF. i loved it and lots of other people did too.
while i agree the game is seriously flawed, it can be very fun - especially in multiplayer.
i don't always agree with Jim's reviews, but a man is entitled to his opinion. however his DNF review is ridiculous. from his twitter i understand that he got owned in the game and that pissed him off. that's not a reason for a 2/10 score. i'd give it a solid 6, but at times this game feels like an 8. rarely, but it does
