  • So, actually, that "ex-gay" is still gay, he just chooses not to do anything about it. He just admitted he still has the urge, but that he doesn't do anything about it. Being gay is about attraction, not necessarily about action. Even a gay person who chooses not to do anything with anyone is still gay. They're just celibate. I'm still straight, whether I have sex or not.

  • "a big woman" haha.

Off the scale, wow, smart!!! and Super gay I guess! But... I guess he standardised the results? It's not crude results like.. what if he's just good at all tests in general? Did it compare his results to his results for stuff women are bad at too to see if he's got a more feminsied brain or a just a smarter brain..

  • That guy basically said he didnt change and is still gay.

He said he smells cigarettes and is tempted but doesn't smoke - that was his example

So.. he's saying he sees guys and finds them attractive but just doesn't follow them up.. He's still gay basically.. He didn't change (obviously).. Pointless.

  • I find it odd that the kids are so polarised. I don't mean cus they're brothers. Even if Adam was born a girl I'd find it crazy that she'd have so much pink and ponies and dolls and a boy guns and stuff.

Me and my brother shared remote control cars and play teacups etc. Most things even though we're somewhat different. I guess I can't say its bad it just seems so.. genderised and also commercialised (even if in this case Adam is the opposite extreme)

Don't really know what my point is though!

  • Dude!! I remember those twins from another similar documentary on youtube but they were a few years younger. Now they're a bit growed up :)

  • lol i like it when john says "I built a bear" he sounds sooo cute lol

  • Exactly why I left Christianity, to be bi. You all know that that guy was lying to himself too. Ugh!

  • agreed, and SAME!

  • Poor "ex-gay" guy... hope he realizes he's not doing any good to himself lying like that.

If you live your life to satisfy others... what can I say but "I'm sorry!"

  • OMG. The ex-gay guy is so sad! He now looks like an old troll. Ugh.

  • I'm not gay so I'm by no means an expert but these boys must be proof that being gay is not a choice!

  • oO..

I did those tests last night for fun on the BBC website! I'm a straight female but I performed in a way that varied between masculine and neutral...interesting to watch John do them!

  • can you link? I looked but couldn't find it :P

  • wuts the link??

  • Ooh, where are those at, then?

  • I think they cut the interview with the "ex-gay" because it was turning useless to discuss with him.

I'm happy he has solved his matter of retraining to avoid something is very bad for him indeed. At least he can be a good christian now.

  • He was blatently laughing because he said 'hard' not because he was stressed! lol

    love him <3

  • i love how he covered it up!

  • firm, robust, hard... LOL.. i love him!

  • I'm pretty sure that was just disingenuous editing on the part of the producer, as is common these days with so much TV.

  • The "ex-gay" guys uses the analogy of denying himself chocolate or cigarettes to no longer being gay. Very interesting.

Basically, what the "ex-gay" guy is saying is that he still feels an attraction to men, he just chooses not to act on it. That doesn't mean you become "ex-gay" or straight, it just means you spend your life lying to yourself.
