  • this is awful. I hope Johnny Ramone comes back from the dead and kills their entire families.

  • @senseitre thats an awful comment i hope john/ jesus come and kill YOU, i dont think your family should die

  • @senseitre This is originally from a 2003 tribute album that Johnny oversaw. He liked this cover so much he made it the opening track.

  • Comment removed

  • Is that will ferrel on drums? XDD

  • John Frusciante!!! We miss you!!!

  • The original is good, but the ramones cover is better.

  • q grosso los voy a ver el 18 de septiembre

  • I find this version maybe more deep than the original one, mostly because of Mr Frusciante, but I still think The Ramones made it better... so do I think of their other Ramones cover, but it's a nice way of saying Respect to a band they love, isn't it?

  • Good music ¡¡¡¡¡ good band ¡¡¡

  • BaBy BaBy MaBy Loco?

  • 500 veces mejor que la version de Ramones

  • @denidamiso SUICIDATE MAN

Gracias !

  • anybody from Cork? YEAAAAAA

  • why is will ferrell playing the drums?

  • @mvj1984 Okay fuck you! I am soooooo sick of people writing the same mothafuhking shit on every RHCP video, FUCK OFF

  • @xXaggiesXx23 you dont have the rite to use the no' 23 in your tag you dumb mug. il met u at the coffe shop not 4 coffe tho dickhead.

  • @mvj1984 As some others said befor: Chad Smith doesn't look like Will Ferrell - Will Ferrell looks like Chad Smith! :D

  • live slane version is much better than studio version and i think it's better than ramones version

  • @AntoineDeSwan little stinky piece of shit, don't talk about the ramones.

  • @AntoineDeSwan Antoine de swan..... think about that comment for a minute.....REALLY? I don't like to post nasty comments on line but really, first of all, calling a song better than the version of the artist who wrote it ? You must be a big fan of A.O. R. easy listenin', because your comment is comparable to calling Pat Boone's version of Tutti Frutti better than Little Richard's version

  • i love hearing johns voice......

  • I like the RHCP.

  • @bannanachops you're watching the right videos then.....

  • that is one freaking flame war we have here...

  • @theindivindual ... fuck off

  • @Nr132508 The RHCP is better...

  • Comment removed

  • @molloyboytoy Now im done with you. You have proven yourself Ignorant, hateful... Funny thing I really do feel sorry for you, I cant imagine how all that hate in heart has to feels like... Ill pray for you, I really will. Feel free to argue with yourself, as for me... Im going to listen to Road to Ruin, and meet my girlfriend 6th street, have fun, lol, I have more important things to do...

  • @theindivindual Wow talk about the ultimate cop out in an argument how pathetic. I use the word faggot once and I'm a hateful ignorant person with an obssessive rage problem. Way to infer without any evidence, which is usually the strategy of weak minded people like yourself. Face it, you were completely wrong on your initial assertion and also about why you made that assertion. You're an idiot. I can't help the helpless. Class dismissed.

  • @theindivindual Punk rock is a form of music and is subjective to each person involved as well as the fans. There isn't any objective punk rock definition we should all abide by. Therefore, it only once again highlights the ignorance and stupidity of your argument.

  • @molloyboytoy Actually you just defend my views thanks, lol. By again knocking my stance as just an opinion just proving that yours is just the same!

  • @theindivindual Your opinion was that i know nothing about the Ramones which is incorrect lmao what are you talking about? and yours was that I don't, however you've provided no evidence nor had any evidence to make your claim so you just simply stated that I was entitled to my opinion, yet that's what you attacked before the whole gay issue came up because your ignorant of the views of others. Seriously this is getting sad. i feel like i'm quelling a temper tantrum from a four year old.

  • @theindivindual Gay people would be ashamed of you for trying to use them simply to win a petty argument. Your a phony supporter of the gay movement clearly.

  • @molloyboytoy you wrote" lol your just another dumb fuck who knows nothing about the Ramones!" Where does that mention my use of the word faggot? Check mate! Ur full of shit and you have no argument which is hwy your focusing on a word you don't like because you think it will help you.

  • Carlitos Tevez? Lol he doesn't look like Anthony.

  • This is complete garbage. The Red Hot Chili Peppers couldn't play this better than The Ramones if their lives depended on it. This isn't a slow dance reggae song it's a punk rock anthem forged by a phenomenal band and should be played accordingly, LOUD, FAST, AND HARD. THE STYLE OF THE RAMONES. R.I.P. JOHNNY, JOEY, AND DEE DEE.

  • @molloyboytoy dude shut up why come to a video and just talk shit.

  • @jamesbondk LMAO! Tell that to your fellow gay fans of RHCP then.

  • @molloyboytoy ok go back to your loud ass mucic where cant even understand the fucking words. Dont come to a video and just talk shit. Its just their rendition of it. Flea has more talent in one of his fingers than anyone in the ramones

  • @jamesbondk LMAO! RHCP would tell you the Ramones were better than them. Did the Ramones cover any of their 80's or 90's stuff? No because they're not worth it. Further, at least the Ramones didn't have to resort to stripping naked and putting socks on their dicks to get fans. They just played music without the gay theatrics. Further, RHCP is basically a boy band that sings pop songs for teenagers who no one will remember (if they even do now). They;re basically a glam metal band that steals

  • @jamesbondk riffs from early metallica and other groups. They have horrible bass riffs and moan and grown about how horrible life is and about the greatness of california. The ramones were voted the second most influential band of all time for a reason.

  • @molloyboytoy you have no idea what you talking about because Flea their bassist is voted the third best ever. Their guitarist when this video came John frusciante was voted the 17th best ever. name some metallica songs where they got their riffs from smartass.

  • @jamesbondk Elevation-Television = RHCP Californication, Mary Janes Last Dance- Tom Petty = Dani California, Gang of Four has claimed that their sound was stolen by RHCP, Black Sabbath's Sweet Leaf main riff = RHCP Give It Away Ending Riff. Budgie's Breadfan (covered by Metallica, which is why I used the name) and RHCP's Around The World. There are many similarities with other groups in their music.

  • @molloyboytoy the television one sound kind of similar only in the beginning for only like half a second. I will give you the tom petty one. After listening to many Gang of Four songs i dont even see a resemblance. The Black Sabbath one sounds a bit similar. Budgie Breadfan not at all. The RHCP version is done by a bass and sounds only faintly similar. Just because sounds sound similar does not mean they ripped off the riffs. Flea and john are considered very good.

  • @molloyboytoy But the red hot chili peppers had the ideas before than them

  • @molloyboytoy Lol, your just another dumb fuck who doesn't know shit about the Ramones!

  • @theindivindual Why don't you enlighten me then faggot! The reason you like this group is probably because of they were scantily clad when they performed on stage. Probably have a poster of that up in your bedroom. What a queer!

  • @molloyboytoy Listen here sweet pea I dont consider being Gay, an insult. So when you pathetically try to "insult" me, PLEASE use big boy words. There is a shitload of ways your wrong, but the biggest, has to be your sheer fucking ignorance. The red hot chili peppers version of Havana affair wasnt on their album, but another, called We're a Happy Family: A Tribute to Ramones... Now who oversaw the production, and chose the song as the opening JOHNNY RAMONE! Now fuck off, hipster!

  • @theindivindual That is a big boy word designed to dishearten sexual deviants like yourself. Also, I indeed know where Havana Affair came from douche bag and the relationship the bands had. So guess what! You assumed completely wrong about me! Who's ignorant now? I still believe that this version is garbage and RHCP gaylords need to stay off The Ramones Havana Affair pages and saying The Ramones Version sucks. Got it douchebag. Who are you the thought police. Go fuck yourself.

  • @molloyboytoy the word faggot is a hateful word that only defines the one who's using it. Because all of the wrong you see in those blind eyes, are only your imperfections being reflected. Being gay isnt a sin, nor crime. And the word is childish, because in any collegian debate, using that word in defense would mean your demise. More importantly, just proves you dont know shit about punk. Fuck I feel sorry for you.

  • @theindivindual That's your opinion on gay people and you're entitled to it. However, you can't substantiate that being gay is natural just like I can't substantiate the fact that it's a choice (which scientifically speaking is more logical). However, because you know that your argument regarding the Ramones is incorrect your focusing on the portion of the argument you think you can win. The fact is you were ignorant when you assumed I knew nothing about the Ramones and that I was a "dumbfuck"

  • @theindivindual Finally, the tactic that your using to focus on the word "faggot" is just a device designed to avoid the main crux of the disagreement, which is that you have no evidence to show that I'm ignorant about punk rock or the song Havana Affair and its origins or the RHCP and Ramones relationship nor could you glean it from my initial statement. I feel sorry for you because you have to stoop so low in a childish attempt to "win" an argument your incorrect about. GROW UP ARE YOU 10?

  • @molloyboytoy Aww, did I strike a nerve, lol. First of all being gay is natural because its found in nature(kinda in the name).Secondly your calling me childish, but your defending the word"faggot"? And I used a collegian debate because its an example of an adult forum, and the repercussions of what would happen. Again I dont care if you like the red hot chili peppers, and that not why your ignorant .Proof I didnt say anything until you used the word "gay".

  • @theindivindual I'm not defending the word faggot lol? I'm simply saying I'm entitled to my opinion on the issue. Big Difference. Furthermore, this is how this disagreement started, I wrote that the this version sucked and you accused me of being ignorant with no evidence. I called you on it and you have no answer as to how I'm ignorant of punk rock, which you claim you can define what it is and what it encompasses (something i'm still waiting for). Also, you said that the word faggot proves

  • @theindivindual I know nothing about punk rock. So are you saying being gay is a part of punk rock in some way? I need clarification. Finally, you and I both know that I'm correct on the issue we're debating (mainly my ignorance of music mainly because you can't answer any of the things I've asked you and are resorting simply to focusing on a word I used because you have no logical argument. I said that was sad and I stick by my initial statement lol. Nor did you focus on fag in my 1st comment.

  • @molloyboytoy What punk is, is something a hateful shit like could never understand. You proved when you described as " LOUD, FAST, AND HARD". Its so much more than that, its a alone voice, that transform into a legion. It represents a better fucking world, and the willingness to change it.You dont even deserve the right to mention the name Ramones.

  • @theindivindual I said the style of the Ramones on the song Havana Affair! LMAO wow you are seriously reaching and have no argument whatsoever. Where idd I say every song should be that way? Again absolute bullshit. Lastly, who gives you the right or authority to say who can be a fan or use the name of a band when? Dude ur a fascist joke just as I claimed previously! lmao

  • @theindivindual Furthermore, your first comment again was" lol you're just a dumb fuck who knows nothing about the Ramones!" Where does that defend gay people? Your just using this because you can't win the argument because you ignorantly assumed I know nothing about music!

  • @molloyboytoy Again you dont know sit about the Ramones!

  • @theindivindual You can't count and you have absolutely not argument about music and called out the wrong man about music! LMAO YOU'RE PATHETIC!

  • @molloyboytoy No I called the right man, or the better know as the sorry piece of shit, that doesnt know anything about the Ramones or music!

  • @theindivindual Face it you talk alot of unfounded bullshit and you in fact seem to know much less about music, as well as life than I do.

  • @molloyboytoy If you look at what their music meant to them, then there is no way you can be such a hateful fuck. And that is why you dont know hsit about the Ramones. You completely forgotten what they represented!

  • @theindivindual That's not an answer lmao! Your just putting your personal spin on the Ramones experience. That isn't a fact. That's your opinion. The Ramones members were very diverse and each had their own interpretations of their music. Especially Johnny and Joey who were very very different on this issue. You act like the band with perhaps the biggest grudge between it's members were a cohesive unit. They weren't. However, nice subjective opinion. It doesn't help your argument tho

  • @molloyboytoy Again you didnt put me in my place, I already answered your question, but again maybe i'm going to fast. And how is your stance not an opinion? Oh yes i do know about johnny ramone, and his love of Nazi, I also his veiw started to change twoards his death.

  • @theindivindual Apparently people's opinions will be wrongly assumed ignorant in this page by the thought police. LMAO! I didn't know this was a communist Havana Affair page. Theidivindual is such a joke lol.

  • @molloyboytoy God what a fucking cop out. If you don't have the balls, or the intelligence to support your OPINION, then dont say shit! And by the way, I called you ignorant because of your homophobic slurs, dumbass. I could care less if you like the Red hot chili peppers or not!

  • @theindivindual because i didn't share YOUR OPINION on a band that you clearly have a bias toward. It's sad really when your in an internet comment thread talking about a collegiate debate when 1. We're not in academia and 2.) This isn't a collegiate debate. Therefore, your assertions are pointless. Face it! You know that you were wrong to assume I had know knowledge of punk or of the Ramones and RHCP relationship. I win! Also please tell me what punk is, since you tacitly claim to know?

  • @molloyboytoy But again you want mor proof that of your lack of knowledge on the Ramones, fine. Like most hipster fucks, you tend to forget that with the Ramones, there are usually two versions of the same song. The live version and the album version. The live version is where the" LOUD, FAST, AND HARD" comes from, they usually tended to shave off about 30sec off. The album version doesnt really have that fasy, nor that loud of a guitar, in fact the loudest is Joey.

  • @theindivindual R u kidding both the album and live version are fast by anyones standards. Do you honestly believe that this cover is at album speed. U've gotta be kidding me

  • @molloyboytoy Ramones 1:58 album, 1:35 live! Red hot chili peppers 2:02.....

  • @theindivindual There not done at the same speed and you it lmao. The song is clearly played faster on the Ramones album and you know it. Don't play stupid listen to them side by side.

  • @theindivindual studio version 2:16 I rest my case.

  • @molloyboytoy Again the rammones version is slower than their live.

  • @theindivindual That song was 2:08 not 2:02 and the bridge was short. It's clearly slower by any objective person's standards.

  • @theindivindual Again where did you defend gay people in your initial response? You said you didn't say anything until I mentioned gay people because i was entitled to my opinion. That's not accurate. Nor can you prove I'm ignorant of music. You have clearly lied and lost this argument and used the homosexual stick just as a means to even give you the slightest piece of ground to stand upon. Face it you lost this argument by making an unfounded claim about my knowledge and lying.

  • @molloyboytoy Again you dont know sit about the Ramones. Ive been the only one actually using facts to defend my arguments. And I already that question, god I swear you just keep getting dumber dont you, lol!

  • @theindivindual You haven't used a single fact that I didn't throw right in your with good counterfacts namely song times. Further, I've placed you in a position where you can't answer certain questions regarding your position which in COLLEGIATE DEBATE highlights the flaws in your position. You lost by being arrogant and foolhardy in your criticisms and not basing them in any evidence. Then lying about them.

  • @molloyboytoy I used the relationship between the Ramones, and the chili peppers, the respect Johnny Ramone had for them. And the fact of the studio version of the Ramones. And you used the word "faggot", aww sweet pea...

  • @theindivindual lmao! You do know that JOhnny was against gay marriage. Johnny Rotten assaulted a gay man and used the word faggot in songs like New York! Sid Vicious wore shirts with swastikas and Glenn Danzig would obviously not be in favor of gays either. You claiming that me using faggot shows my lack of knowledge of punk rock is very unfounded. Not even to mention Graves.

  • @theindivindual FAce it! You're resorting to this because you don't have an argument because you made a claim based on no evidence and then lied saying you didn't attack my opinion until I mentioned gays which isn't factual. You lost this argument by being an arrogant know it all who thinks his opinion is the only correct one. Well newsflash it isn't at all. You aren't the arbiter of punk rock and what the people should believe on issues pertaining to music. You fail!

  • @molloyboytoy Again I just proved my opinion by explaining that Johnny Ramone choose the fucking song! A fucking Ramone said that it was good, who the fuck are you compared to a Ramone. I have an actual fact when you only have opinion!

  • @theindivindual I said I didn't like the song! I didn't say the Ramones would say they didn't like it! Way to put words in my mouth! Still Johnny said green day's covers were good then insulted them afterward as plastic punk, and he didn't want to work with spector because of the sound change they underwent either. This man was extremely particular about songs remaining original. Not that it's even pertinent to the debate but a fun fact

  • @theindivindual LMAO! I gave my opinion that the cover sucked! Johnny said it was good! That's life dumbass! However, I'm not ignorant of their relationship as you claimed! I didn't say the Ramones would say that this should be played differently, i said I think it should be played differently lol and how does this effect your argument thta I know nothing! It doesn't it only proves how stupid you are.

  • @molloyboytoy And you forgot to mention the reason I came into this argument... oh, that right your a hateful IGNORANT ass, lol..

  • @theindivindual Wow. I just fact checked you on Johnny Ramone. He said that although the song was altered "it didn't matter, I want them to make it their own". Doesnt' mean he personally loved it and chose it. He let them do whatever they wanted lol. No you didn't LMAO. You said I was unknowlegable about the Ramones then lied about waiting until I used a slur. Dude ur full of shit lol. U lied about that and you know it because your argument is deficient.

  • @molloyboytoy Lol, that only proves my point more... They did exactly what Johnny Ramone wanted, and out of all the songs on the album, and all that were sent to him, he choose this one as the best! Wait you do know who else was on that album.. Holy shit you dont, lol.

  • @theindivindual Explain to me how letting them put out whatever they wanted curtailed specifically to exactly what he was looking for? That's not sensible whatsoever. Could you please tell me from what various versions he chose from. Who were the runners up?

  • @molloyboytoy and because you don't have an argument that proves my ignorance, you've resorted to simply talking about a relationship that I was knowledgable of. I never said the Ramones hate this version. I said I do. What is wrong with you? Face it your wrong.

  • Manson, Vedder, KISS, etc. Don't try my patience.

  • @molloyboytoy And who did the last song? Lol O sweet lord why am i taking you serious, lol... I dont need to look up my facts, know them by memory.
