To WeltonAristides I agree about stayin on topic on videos. Firstly, this is Paul at his best, some say he already had his prime. Personally though, I think Gene is the one of KISS who past his prime, as to Paul today is at his prime. AIso in his 60's no less. As to this performance, I personally thought "Thought Tonite You Belong to me" was better on his second solo tour. Saving grace though, this version of "Bulletproof" is better than the Studio/CD version.
I got to see Paul Stanley on this tour at the "Myth" in Minneapolis Mn. We were 10th in line, and they came out and asked the first 15 people to go in for sound check. I wasnt expecting that. That was a dream come true I tell ya. Paul talked with us and played about 5 songs. It was like our own private concert..Paul put on a great show that night. We were front row. Got two " live to win" guitar pics. Very special night. Have been a KIss fan from the beginning, so this was a real treat.
I just can´t figure out why there are people here, complaing things like "ace is best, bruce is best, bla bla bla.".
This is a Paul Stanley video. Couldn´t you just listen Paul's perfomance and write about that?

Eric Singer, my opinion is better than Carr. as proof i present Kissology....Hot in the Shade tour....Eric gets NONE of the old songs right, he just plays them his way. granted he was allowed to, but its bad, Singer never did that, for that most part anyway. & As much as I love ACE, I saw KISS in NYC on the reunion & he MURDERED "Rock Bottom" I dont really love tommy, but his work on "sonic boom" rocks, even if its ripped off
I know I'm opening myself up here but: Peter Criss was not there best drummer, he was in the original line up, so he helped define the original sound, and yes I would rather see him than Eric Singer in the group, but Eric is a really good drummer. And for those of you who don't know, Tommy re-taught Ace all the KISS songs when he came back in the back for the renioun tour. Now, Ace is better, will always be, but Tommy is a close second. I wish ppl would leave sonic boom alone its Kiss's best album in ages and face the facts Ace fans in the Psycho Cuircus Tour Ace quit halfway through and Tommy replaced him in it and nobody even noticed so it shows that Ace fans aint that smart
Yes totally agree with you, Live To Win is much better than SB. SB shows Gene and Paul learned nothing from PC. It seems like when they put the make up back on, they became a caricature of themselves, which in KISS Extreme Close up in 1992, they said they were worried about, and that's why they took the make up off in 83, when they put the make up back on, it seems like they lost their identity, but yes Live To Win is awesome, a few too many ballads for my taste, but still classic Paul.
I'm not disappointed with it, some of the songs are really good, notably Eric's and Tommy's and the more I listen to it the more I like it. But it is a long way from being their best album.

Paul shined on "It's Never Enough," "Dangerous" &"Say Yeah" from "SB." He's always been the most talented guy in KISS; nowadays, KISS only keeps him from growing musically. I wish he'd spent a little more of his prime outside the band. Oh well, seeing him solo now is better than not seeing him at all.

The problem is that people have far more interest in Kiss the band than Paul the solo performer so that's what he keeps returning to. Not that he doesn't enjoy working with Kiss, but I would actually like to hear what he'd come up with purely divorced from any concerns about Kiss or even concerns about "being Paul Stanley."
Love this song and the whole album as a matter of fact. Paul is Awesome solo as is Ace. Peter has been respectable too, but Gene hasn't done anything I've found impressive outside of Kiss. Gene will probably continue Kiss even without him or Paul performing. I predicted that to my friends years ago.

I just heard the new KISS album and this is WAY better! Live to win was really a good album! Ace's new Anomaly is good aswell.
